Personal touch, from physical shop to digital..
I am very much a brick 'n' mortar shop guy when it comes to buying physical media. I buy all of my brand new purchases from Fopp in Glasgow, where staff member Lukan is particularly knowledgeable and friendly. On this occasion two of the movie titles I was looking for were only available online via HMV's warehouse. They ordered them for me, to be delivered to my home. What I most liked it that HMV sent it Royal Mail 48hr Tracked. Meaning I knew exactly when it was coming, could change the delivery date or even redirect it to a neighbour. Excellent fast service!

The staff were very helpful
The staff were very helpful. They checked the computer and when they saw that they had the DVD instore they offered to go and fetch it.
Another out of stock DVD was ordered instore and delivered from the warehouse to FOPP Glasgow for me to pick up promptly.

By charging over £16 for a call to your customer service department- using the number on hmv website.
Also the “pre delivery “ ordered 5 weeks in advance did not arrive on the day however other customers were able to walk in and purchase from shelf (unfortunately for me the last one sold an hour before I arrived)
