The Bluray sent was ex shop stock and…
The Bluray sent was ex shop stock and opened at the bottom the bottom had no cellophane on it at all. The returns process is obstructionist and costs money just to return something that was ordered locally in store.
I will never use your services again.

Purchasing records
I have mobility problems and on the day was struggling to walk round to look at the records I wanted to buy as I had put them in my basket online the lady at the till took my list and did the walking round for me she also ordered the ones that were not in store to come straight to my house which only took a couple of days so thank you to the lady in the Leicester store much appreciated

The staff at the HMV IN Leicester were great…
The staff at the HMV IN Leicester were very friendly, helpful and efficient. I received my order through the HMV Home delivery Service within a few days. Iam thoroughly delighted with HMV and give them the highest recommendation. Iam now awaiting for my pre order The Last Starfighter on Blu ray, when it is released to be delivered to my home address. Half decent visit but really ? How much for vinyl ??
OK , where do I start ?
Staff - either on it and enthusiastic or mind numbling bored . On this occasion i was greeted warmly and even tried to up sale me some record sleeve covers for the vinyl I'd just bought (well remembered from the training sessions !)
In Leicester we are lucky to have a very large 2 storey store so we do get to browse lots of stock . There is even a 3rd floor used for promotions for bands etc .
Now the one problem just about EVERYONE mentions - the bloody stupid prices on everything . Sale time atm so I picked up 2 albums for £40 (not too shabby) or 3 for £50. But back catalogue is ridiculous !!! Sorry guys but how do you stay in business ? All I heard while walking around was the sound of 'sharp intake of breath' constantly as people turned the records over to see the prices on the reverse . They've stated doing this to lure you in . Please HMV , you used to be where I went decades ago to get the best prices in town for my 12" singles etc when I used to DJ .
Next - audio equipment . Not sure who's buying the decks in but they really are low grade tech for the ignorant . Basically lots of things seem very expensive - if your desperate for a blu ray , vinyl or something to play them on etc then its handy - just not that very keenly priced . Honestly if you sort this out then you'll have people flocking to you .

We have many excellent offers and promotions taking place throughout the year, where we offer a wide range of titles often on sale at much lower prices than our competitors. It can be the case that certain retailers who do not specialise in entertainment may sell a limited number of audio and visual titles at lower prices on occasion. However, we consider our strengths to be the depth and range of products available, our knowledgeable and committed staff, as well as providing competitive prices across the full range.
We can assure you that all prices are a direct reflection of the price that we in turn have paid our suppliers for that product. If we are able to negotiate a special purchase price on an item, then this discount will of course be extended to our customers, as you would have seen with our regular sales and promotions that we run in store.
We pride ourselves on the service in our stores and we rely heavily on customer feedback in order to move forward and keep improving. We would therefore like to thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your thoughts and we hope to see you again in our stores soon.

HMV a leading record store
HMV is still a leading record store in the UK.The Leicester Branch has a wide selection of music in different formats. The staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have bought a lot of my music collection from this store.
