Good experience
Had a look at the record players in store. A good selection. We did end up buying online which was easy. It's a birthday present for my daughter and she'll enjoy coming into the store to pick an LP

Went in to my local shop to buy Se7en…
Went in to my local shop to buy Se7en on 4K Blu-ray.
I looked for a copy but couldn't find any so I asked one of they guys behind the till.
The shop assistant checked on the computer and he said they had one left in stock, then another HMV assistant came over and said the copy showing on the computer is reserved for an HMV employee, therefore HMV are out of stock on that product.
You can't make this stuff up!!

Really great service from the people in the store. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and and did a very, very efficient exchange of an item that I had double purchased.

Hmv don't care
Picked item up from shop, checked it to make sure it was correct item,shop assistant saw that it had been drawn on in numerous places so fetched manager.he was a prat,was not interested told me to take it or leave would not knock off any money or apologise.could not guarantee that a new one would be delivered before xmas

Sorry for the delay getting that last item out to you. That one's coming from our main warehouse which is experiencing a few delays at the moment due to the large volume of orders that we're receiving but they're working around the clock to get that out to you as soon as they can and before the last postage date, to arrive in time for Christmas.

Pre-order not available on day of release
I ordered a cd online a week before the release date. It didn’t arrive until after release date despite being available at the front of the store!!
I won’t bother pre-ordering in future.
