The staff were and always have been wonderful at finding what I want for gifts I just give them my list. Otherwise I’d be there all day . One CD was out of stock but ordered and delivered within a couple of days. I can’t thank Preston branch enough

The lady who served me was of great help, when I explained i had seen a product at another store but not on the shelf. She happily searched for the product and arranged a direct delivery to my home.

Large selection of DVD's Blue Rays CD's and Vinyl, helpful staff and pleasant surroundings. The shop is well laid out. Great that you can still browse these items and purchase them at a specialist high street retailer at competative prices.

The DVD I ordered was quite an old film and yet HMV had no trouble getting it for me. It arrived in the expected time and all the staff were efficient and pleasant. A lovely shop to be in!

Kept me informed when my item would arrive

The service and communication skills from the man who helped me place the order in November were excellent. He should be commended. I did need to phone the shop immediately I had returned home because I realised an LP had been ordered instead of a CD. I went on line to find the number and the one I got from the on line information provided was the security office number of the St George’s Shopping Centre in Preston Lancs and not HMV. Anything I tried that the on line information gave me with regard to speaking on a phone didn’t work. It would be wonderful if someone could provide a precise phone number for the specific shop. As it was I couldn’t go back into the shop again because I was having a major op the next day. These are life events that do interfere with everyone’s systems but an easily accessible phone number could have sorted it all out for me very easily. As it was I had to accept the LP and buy a CD as well.

Prompt and efficient service - click and collect

Everything went well, as expected, with prompt deliveries to the store (Preston), notification by e-mail when they had arrived, helpful and friendly staff in-store who found my items and completed the purchase.

Two days from Ordering to receiving news from HMV that the DVD was ready to collect. It seemed like all the stops had been pulled out by the guys in Preston store. Well done to the guys for such a speedy service.

Very easy to order online. Very happy that when collecting from store your purchase can be kept for up to 2 weeks. Friendly staff when collecting.

Both the staff were very kind and helpful. I was able to order a boxset and had emails to let me know when my order was dispatched and delivered to the store. I had the option of home delivery but chose to go to the shop to pick it up. This is the first time I've ordered and will definitely to so again.

The help from the staff was ok but my second order has still not arrived and is taking some time...I have not been fully informed when it will be ready to pick up...

This was the first time I had ordered online from HMV.i ordered 3 LPs of which only one of them was available in my local store. The LPs arrived as promised and were well packaged and arrived in good condition.
I always try to buy from my local store but if needed I would not hesitate to buy online again.

The shop both online and in store are easy to navigate , staff are friendly and helpful and returning my item was an easy process
