I had a good experience with openning a new account with Hodge Bank.
I appreciate the straightforward and simple process of opening account a new account.
In relation to the funding of new account, I had to rang the office as the payment was made to ModulR FS Ltd and not Hodge Bank. As a 73 years of age this was rather confusing!
However, I had confirmation by e-mail that the new account has been funded, providing a sense of security.
Finally, good interest rates paid and clear communication throughout the entire process.

Simple to use, just works which these days is such a big plus.

Ease of opening and paying into account

I can only comment on the application process which was simple, quick and easy to complete. My bank transfer of funds was actioned speedily, and an email was received almost immediately confirming receipt of the money, very helpful so that you know that there has not been a problem with lost transfers. If there are no problems when I try to take money outof the account then my 5* rating will stand.

My online application was quite straightforward as was my first deposit. A telephone enquiry I made was handled very well
