I have hired cars all over Europe,this was one of the easiest ever.
The rep was fantastic,no hassle,very knowledgeable and helpful.
Very impressed with Thrifty indeed,the car was almost brand new.

Booked our car for holiday starting end of August. Easy to navigate site and very easy to book .all insurance explained clearly so easy to pick what you need.Looking forward now to picking up car and hopefully it will go as smoothly as it was to book..

Easy to book with competitive rates.

I like the holiday auto service but this company was not up to expectations.

Absolutely horrendous experience.
We had a car booked for our 9 day holiday in France.
Unfortunately our plane was delayed by a few hours so when we arrived the car hire place was shut.
We had to book a hotel at the airport so we could go back the next day to collect our car.
To our horror, they said the car had been hired out and there was nothing we could do about it.
We are now stuck with no car and £350 out of pocket.
I would advise everyone to avoid this company at all costs if you don't want your well earned holiday ruined.

Great professional, courteous service with no hard sell for extra insurance etc

I didn't get the car because they didn't except normal Norwegian credit card that i used all other places in Croatia vithout eny problems.
They tried to sell me an insurance dobbel the price of the car. Because i used an external booking company i hat to have that insurance. I allready board the ekstra insurance from Holiday Autos. XCover.com . Tried to cancell on the Holiday Autos but it was to late an my ticket will not be answered before 16/7 3 weeks after we gat home. 30/06 update. No refund because they think i didnt have a valid credit card. I dit and do have but Eurocard woulden take it. The order was cancelled but this shit company just takes my money enyway.

Answer: Yes i have tried that but just get a automatisk email that says my case has been resorlved and that they will not read my new mail. Again trying to make it difficult so you give up. Scam and bad service. This is the answer they send.

I found the booking process with Holiday Autos quick and easy, but that's where the positive experience ended. They recommend car hire companies like Goldcar that use deceptive tactics to force customers into paying extra "insurance" at collection. After claiming falsely in my case that my credit card payment couldn't be processed, I was given an impossible choice: walk away from a car I'd already paid for or pay hundreds more to avoid ruining my family's long-awaited holiday.

While Goldcar carried out this practice, Holiday Autos cannot wash their hands of responsibility. They choose to partner with these companies, continue to promote them, and profit from bookings made through their platform. By failing to hold their partners accountable, they enable this behaviour and leave customers to deal with the consequences. I won't be using Holiday Autos again and cannot recommend a company that allows these practices to continue.

My payment wouldn’t go through to technical error, when I went back in to check if an input error it wouldn’t let me. I contacted online help and that was not helpful it seemed like fraud when it sent me a payment link with no company name, reference just didn’t look legit. Will not be using holiday auto’s

Great location for an easy car rental pick up and drop off. Located directly outside airport arrivals. Cars are all well maintained.
Take care to stand your ground with the sales desk if you’ve already purchased additional insurance cover as they do try strong arm tactics to sell their own, which is by the way optional.

Gave 5 stars because of how easy it was to book and got a email saying if there’s anything they can help with just let them know

Great website to use and fantastic price for car hire, car was new. Goldcar booking and service was excellent. Already booked again. Highly recommend Holiday Autos.

Fast and efficient

Doing the booking was easy and not complex, all details were clear.

Couldn't give a zero! Terrible service from HA, booked a car from Seville Airport and was massively over charged for Insurance to drive in Portugal by 40 Euro's. Raised a query with HA and the customer service reps were absolutely useless. They obviously did not read my complaint fully and didn't understand the complaint either. Had the complaint raised further up the chain and they still didn't care. HA don't care about the renters as long as thye have made their commission. Avoid at all cost, use Kayak or Holiday Extra's instead.

Good services and car supplied was as specified. Clean throughout. Couple of maintenance issues could have been sorted but these did not affect anything
