- One of the most exciting parts of our work is sourcing the products. We now import products in from all around the world including countries like Thailand, USA, Italy, Brazil, India and Japan. And because we always try to deal direct with the manufacturers of our products we are usually in a good position to offer the best prices and also offer products that are exclusive to us.

- We take our ethical and environmental responsibilities seriously. We seek information and assurances from our suppliers that they treat their employees with respect and do not employ child labour. In fact many of our suppliers have an active involvement in their local communities, often contributing time or money.
- Environmental
- In our own processes we are always trying to become more environmentally aware. This is an ever evolving process and we are only a small way along it, but at present we use energy saving bulbs, recycle all of the cardboard and paper and plastic we generate and we print our stationary and promotional cards on recycled paper. Our jiffy bags are all recyclable (not the kind with plastic inside). There are other processes we have changed and there are also many on the list.

- Holisticshop.co.uk is an internet mail order business. That is to say we do not have a traditional type shop and we do not publish a paper catalogue - our website is our catalogue. Because ecommerce is all we do that is where our total focus goes. If you order from us before 3pm on a weekday (Monday – Friday) your package will be shipped that day. Our standard form of shipment to the UK is first class Royal Mail, but faster options are available.

Disappointing experience and unnecessarily difficult refund process
I had high hopes for this company, but unfortunately my experience has been disappointing from both a product and customer service perspective.
The candle I received did not burn properly. I was asked to follow a long troubleshooting process, which felt excessive and time-consuming for what appeared to be a faulty product.
Communication throughout the process was frustrating. Each time I sent an email, I would receive an automated response, followed by a reply from the team, and then another automated message when responding again. This significantly increased the number of emails required and made resolving the issue unnecessarily slow.
At one stage, I asked whether I could try other candles from the same order, but I did not receive a response for two days. By then, I had already packed everything for return.
The refund process has also been unnecessarily drawn out. Resolving a relatively low value order required multiple emails. I was initially informed that PayPal was responsible for the delay, however it later became clear the refund had not yet been processed.
I also attempted to resolve the matter by phone, but the representatives were unable to provide direct answers or solutions and instead acted as intermediaries passing messages to customer service, which added further delays.
I understand that issues can happen with any company, however customers should not have to repeatedly chase responses and refunds for relatively small amounts. Overall, the process has been unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating, and based on this experience I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

Package arrive in good time, it was well wrapped to avoid damage, I bought several bags of crystal chips and was pleasantly surprised by the amount in each bag, the size of the crystal chips were much bigger than expected too(definitely not a bad thing) and the prices are really affordable, highly recommend.
