While our experience with Samantha Savill was very positive, our experience with Vicky Bright was extremely poor. Communication was inconsistent, inaccurate information was sent to the buyer’s solicitors, and our concerns were not listened to. Delays that could have been avoided prolonged the transaction considerably. We ultimately had to travel three hours to the office to obtain updates and action. We would not choose to work with this conveyancer again.

Have used the company for a number of years for various legal matters, and always received the most professional service possible. My experiences have dealt with a few different legal people, but all (the latest Emma) have dealt with the problems efficiently and most importantantly with a smile and extremely pleasant and as mentioned very professional manner. I would wholeheartedly recommend their services and most certainly continue using them for any future legal work.

We arranged an initial meeting to discuss cost for changing trustees. This was arranged to happen 2 weeks later. On the day of the meeting with just a few hours to go for the meeting, Holmes & Hills emailed to say that they were going to charge £250 + VAT just to quote for the work. These charges could have been disclosed upfront when arranging the meeting and saved a lot of hassle. Whilst this is better than retrospective charges, it still is not acceptable to leave disclosure of these fees to the last minute. I view this as poor communication and unprofessional.
