Emil has been super helpful with sales, explaining the process and getting it sold on time. But the AFTER SALEs service which I was up-selled for around 10.000 DKK more has been HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE where they promised meter readings consumption transparency settlement and refunds, laundry room keys handover costs transfer - AND THEY DID NOTHING AT ALL!!! My wife and I moved to Denmark not long ago, and buying an apartment here felt almost impossible at first. We don’t speak advanced Danish yet, and the Danish system and paperwork are very different from what we were used to, so the whole process was quite stressful and confusing for us.

We were incredibly lucky to work with Asbjørn. From the very beginning, he was always there for us, answering all our questions (and we had a lot) and explaining the documents, the process, the risks, and what we should pay attention to. He never made us feel like our questions were stupid or unnecessary. On the contrary, he always took the time to explain everything clearly.

He helped us check documents, contact the seller’s side, clarify house rules (even about our two small parrots), and understand the financial and legal aspects of the deal. At several points, we were unsure or worried, and he really gave us confidence and a feeling that someone experienced is on our side and looking after our interests.

What we especially appreciated was that he was very responsive, organized Teams meetings quickly when needed, reviewed documents carefully, and followed up on all the questions we asked. We always felt that he genuinely cared that everything would go well for us, not just that the deal would be completed.

Stalkers! I cancelled my apartment 3 months before because I’m moving somewhere else.

So they need to have a new renter before my last day. They call me every day several times even on weekends to schedule viewings. They don’t think that I am just not available or at work. I have opened my apartment 4 times for viewings and they haven’t rented it out. I have said to them when I am available for viewings and continue asking me for dates I cant, it’s simply too much.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Cecilie and Juliane in the selling of my apartment. The process was super fast and I felt supported from beginning to end. Fantastic experience - truly recommend Home Holte!

I had a very good experience with Pia as "køberrådgiver", because she checked all the details of the contract and she answered my questions

In my sincere opinion, this company operates dishonestly. The agent explicitly told me that I would receive my full deposit if the apartment was returned in good condition. I did exactly that, yet I received less than half of my deposit back.
They invented unjustified charges for painting, polishing, and additional heating costs, none of which were legitimate. This felt like a deliberate attempt to exploit me.
As an expat, I never expected to be treated this way in Denmark. There appears to be a pattern where rental agencies assume foreigners are naïve or unfamiliar with their rights.
I am now seeking legal assistance and awaiting the return of the remaining amount owed to me. Based on my experience, I strongly caution other especially expats against trusting verbal assurances from this agency. Great that Trump is imposing tariffs, the whole country is built on big monopolies including scamming rental agencies. Happy that I moved to wealthy Switzerland…
