One of by box's was ripped in side and to be honest I think there all used and I payed fully price as there the only 3 available and I need to keep them but I'm not happy about it

Paint not sealed properly
Bought a 5L tin of paint which the lid was not properly on. The tin fell over in my car and went everywhere. It was well stowed so it didn't fall far. Will be in touch with customer services to get reimbursement for the damage caused

We do ask that customers carefully check the lids before leaving the store to ensure the lid is properly fastened. Once you get to your vehicle, we do advise the paint is in a vertical position and you check that the item will be secured whilst the car is moving as the responsibility is with the customer to ensure the above is followed to prevent any spillages.
We’d be more than happy to cover the cost of the paint by sending you a gift card of the price you paid however Homebase cannot be held responsible for paint spillages once the customer has left the store.
