Popped in to look and found amazing garden furniture bargains. Neil was super helpful and informative. Gave us all the information we wanted and negotiated a great deal. Neil was perfect, gave us plenty of space and time to think about our purchases.

Extremely good service. Did not feel pressured in any way . We left feeling very happy with our purchase. James was excellent throughout the experience. Also was helped by Luke

We came to the store to order our shower unit. The store was well laid out and clean. We were met by Jim who took us through everything we needed. Very informative, helpful and professional salesperson. This is the second time we have visited the store and both experiences have been great.

The last review I wrote regarding Homebase was about their excellent service regarding buying a kitchen from them. All was well and brilliant until 13th July 2024 when the appliance company used by Homebase was to deliver our appliances. They didn’t deliver ( I have reviews them in a separate review as I’m so unhappy with their service), saying they had a shortage of staff. Roll on to 20th July 2024. Appliance delivery company rearranged delivery for the 20th July 2024. Once again they didn’t deliver but this time said it was because Homebase didn’t pay them for the items.
Getting very fed up with Homebase and ao passing the buck leaving me without an oven or fridge freezer yet again……….

Carolyn is a lovely lady. Nothing is too much trouble for her. I would highly recommend Carolyn . Thank you for helping me design my new kitchen

We have recently had a new Kitchen and Utility Room from Homebase, Barnstaple. Top praise has to be to the wonderful Carolyn Smaldon - she went above and beyond to ensure we got the kitchen we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and she was happy to consider our quirky ideas and find a solution to enable them to be incorporated into our design. We are thrilled with our Country Living units and worktops and highly recommend a visit to Carolyn - you won’t be disappointed!!

Easy to use click and collect no wasted journeys you know how much stock is in store before you place your order. It’s ready for you when you get there and the staff are more than happy to load your car as well.

Very helpful young man called Luke who helped me choose a battery drill & explained its workings.

The assistant Jim was approachable and knowledgeable, was happy to answer any questions, made the experience a happy one 😀

Sharon went beyond to ease my worry! She was quick to find the exact paint with Dulux Heritage and speedily made up the colours I needed, a smile and great attitude to her work ethic. Thank you
