Brilliant and helpful service from John. Called into Homebase to get some bark in the garden centre. John advised on type and how much was needed. Lifted heavy bags onto a trolley and took them to checkout for me. He then processed the order and took them to the car and loaded them in for me. Great service that was courteous and efficient… and all with a smile! Thankyou John!

Went into the store today to try and find suitable plants for my garden. I wasn’t sure exactly what I should be getting, but thankfully was helped by John who works in the garden department. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the plants, fertilisers , compost etc. He give me a lot of advice, and helped me to the car with all the things I bought , which was very much appreciated . What a great representative for Homebase . I hope he is valued, I’ll definitely be back .

I visited Boucher Road Belfast store yesterday. I met James, one of the gardeners who gave me excellent advice about plants I was looking at. He was very informed and was able to explain to me why certain plants would be more suitable than others for my needs. I can’t thank him enough for his kind assistance and his time which he was very generous with. Homebase is very fortunate to employ someone who gives such excellent customer service,

I was in the garden centre of your Boucher Rd Belfast store on Monday 20th August checking out the range of plants. I’m not that great on plant varieties, where to plant them, watering requirements etc. The guy looking after the garden centre “John” was very helpful. I would be a regular customer in the garden centre and have on many occasions have dealt with John he is always smiling, cheerful, pleasant to deal with, always willing to share his knowledge of plants. I have noticed him greeting people giving advice to customers giving them tips on plants with a wee story. He has given me a lot of good tips over the years. He is a great asset to your store. He keeps the area very tidy.

I used click and collect which was easy to use ,kept me informed and my goods were ready and waiting when l went to the store.
A helpful and pleasant experience which l will use again when shopping in Homebase.

My sister and I have been to the gardening section in Homebase Boucher Rd Belfast several times over the last few weeks! On each occasion we have been very lucky to have the assistance of John the gardener. He was exceptionally competent and knowledgeable about various areas. He gave us useful advice on which gravel/stones to buy for our patio and also helped us take it to the car. He also suggested a very good product for removal of tough bamboo tree roots. I would definitely recommend a visit to Homebase to speak to John if you have any gardening problems. He is friendly, knowledgeable and very patient! A big thank you to John.

Whenever I visit the garden centre at Homebase, John the Gardener is always on hand for help and advice. He is very passionate about gardening, and is always a wealth of knowledge on plant care and ideas for my garden. Well worth having a chat to him, you might just learn something you didn't know.

Order process was good. Long wait times.At pick up store seemed chaotic lots of staff running about one staff member on customer service a little flustered. A system in place where someone is at the counter and another a runner for the orders might help.

Went in today and my purchase was a little big for my car and too heavy for me to lift. John from the gardening section went above and beyond despite the heavy rain, fitted it all in my car and wished me a safe journey. An absolute gentleman, courteous and kind. This was customer service with a smile despite the rain. Huge thank u one very happy customer

The assistant on Click and Collect was very pleasant and helpful. He immediately contacted a colleague who brought me the box containing my bbq down to me. He was John the Gardner and he brought the item to my car and helped put it into my car. He was really pleasant and polite.

Very fast order processing for pick up.

John from the gardening section was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I was selecting stain for my garden fence. He took time to explain the pros and cons of each product, justifying each. A very pleasant staff member who took time with the customer. John is an asset to the Homebase team.

Bought a garden table and chairs in the sale. A lovely gentleman called Micheal loaded it into the car for me. Good value and friendly service.
