Lovely welcoming shopping experience
Was served today in Homebase by a lovely lady, Sarah, on the till. Very friendly, polite, cheerful, professional and welcoming. Makes such a change to be welcomed as a shopper and has significantly improved the shopping experience in our local Homebase, I wish store staff in other shops were like this!

I do like the Homebase shopping…
I do like the Homebase shopping experience, and I have used them before. I wish I lived closer to my local store as I like the friendly and helpful staff at the Bury StEdmunds store, but at 22 miles away and often with limited parking I find myself stuck to online shopping.
Although Homebase are generally not the cheapest diy outlet I have always found them reliable and selling quality products, so its often my first website to browse. On this occasion I was really impressed with the paint offer, so purchased well ahead of my decorating project.
As always, the items arrived within a couple of days. I was surprised to receive my delivery via two different carriers, but all good with the usual efficiency.
I look forward to my next order.

A worthwhile visit …
We visited Homebase in Bury St Edmunds today looking for a particular item. I couldn’t find it. I then spoke to an employee Jade who took me straight to where the item was shelved. She was able to discuss the item I was looking for hence me purchasing it. Thank you Jade.

With the code I had
NOT MY CIRCUS NOT MY MONKEYS
I phoned to say due to a back injury I was unable to meet the deadline for pick up and advised a date when it was possible. Was reassured all was well and that had. We. Noted on the system o my to be advised on the original pick up date that my order was cancelled due to my non pick up! Absolutely bloody useless, ill informed service from your staff who tried to put it down to “well I wasn’t on shift that day and nothing was marked on the system”. Also you have the o do on your systems so do t ask me when my crap experience was. Look it up or is that too much to ask. I’m only the customer we after all. Shambles!!!!!!!
NOT MY CIRCUS NOT MY MONKEYS!!!!!

The Homebase Sales Assistant JANOS
The Homebase Sales Assistant, JANOS, was incredibly helpful, and gave very sound & comprehensive advice regarding our needs.
If other sales assistants were as friendly & helpful as him, shopping experiences would be much, much less of a nightmare.
Thank You JANOS.
