Homebase - Glenrothes Reviews 

Very helpful and cheerful staff, were happy to find out information on stock and deliveries.
Pauline on tills was very helpful letting us keep our stuff near the tills so we can change vehicles and come back to collect.

I went to Homebase to buy paint the cashier told me about the 3 for 2 deal on Dulux paint so the cashier Pauline saved me £21 so thank you Pauline for your excellent service.

Thank you to George who helped me very early this morning. I Was in the glenrothes homebase, at 0830 buying laminate flooring.
He was a true gentleman lifted the 3 packs of laminate onto the trolley for me.
Then offered to put it in my car for me.
Homebase is very lucky to have him. Thank you again George for being so kind.

Ease of ordering and picking up the item.

We came into the Glenrothes store to buy lots of paint for doing up our flat and we were served by Pauline who went out of her way to get us the best deals and helped us find the products we needed. She was really patient and friendly! Thank you!

I was served by Margo , an older operator with no manners or customer service ATALL , ignored me when i spoke , face was tripping her , defo not the job 2 b in wi that attitude towards the public

The guy who sorted out my order was very pleasant and helpful and offered to bring and then brought the items across to the till for me as I had other purchases. He also asked if he could help me carry anything out to the car / I didn’t need any help though it was very nice of him to offer and check that I could manage - thank you 😊

I had to return 2 ceiling lamps as when I asked my electrician to fit them, he told me they were unsuitable for my house. When I went to my local Homebase store in Glenrothes to try to exchange them, I was served by Lynda, and she put me in contact with Dave, who really went out of his way to help me choose new ones. He was absolutely brilliant in the way he explained things to me, I can not thank him enough.

Every member of staff assisted me in my shopping needs quickly and easily.

Trying to buy a replacement drawer handle when George the assistant noticed that I was trying to match my broken one with the distance between the holes he explained that the sizes were on the back of the packaging, had a real pleasant manner along with his wife who was working in same isle. Nice to see someone take time to help on a small purchase - excellent customer service indeed.

I purchased a flat pack window seat yesterday. The chap that sold me it highlighted that the box was damaged and he cut it open for me to check there was no visible damage. Once i opened the box yesterday evening at home, i could see that one of the end section had been badly damaged. Went back to the store this morning to return it. The staff were super helpful, full return with no issue. No other item left in the store room so allowed me to take the display item, with a small price saving as a display model. Julie helped me arrange everything at the till and George helped me carry the window seat out to the car. I have been using this store for almost 20 years, it is not my local store any more as have moved. but still keeping using it, as the staff are amazing!!

Website easy to use and collection was very quick...

Tried to use click and collect but system froze, so phoned branch to be told item not in stock. Later had online access and system showed 8 in stock. Phoned back and a different assistant confirmed they were in stock - and 2 held for me to collect. On arrival assistance to load into car greatly appreciated. Well done Bradley
