Homebase - Glenrothes Reviews 

I bought a BBQ and picked it up yesterday, 2 hrs into building it I noticed the hood was badly damaged - took the hood only back and George went out of his way to get me a replacement - best service I've had for years - give him a bonus!!

The attention to our purchase of a Keter Ace Storage Unit today, 27/04/24 by George, Customer Assistant, was second to none. It is so nice to have staff that go the extra mile to ensure we were happy with what we needed. Thank you.

Confirmation was quick and Our order was sitting waiting for us at the click and collect desk. We were offered help to the carpark as order was very heavy.

Went to pick up some paint today and was served by George, he was fantastic at helping us pick out the shades and colours we wanted for our garden.

Researching pressure washers, George very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had.

Easy to order online. Click and collect will check the item is instore. Place the order and within half an hour I received an email to say it was ready to collect. Excellent

We visited the Glenrothes store this evening about an hour before it closed. Staff member George stopped while we were searching for paint and asked what we were looking for. He helped us find all the paint we needed along with other DIY accessories with great patience and knowledge. He made a daunting shop easy and secured repeat customers at the same time as we will definitely be back.

Ordered an item to click and collect. Got to the store to find the product was advertised on the shelf cheaper than I paid for online so I queried it at the checkout, got told I had to follow the sales assistant to check it to find there was a sticker beside the item which should have been removed a month ago! Got told that's what the price was and that's it, no apology or anything. Got back to the counter where the sales assistant asked someone for help collecting my item, he was very rude to her then when my item got brought out there was no offers of help to the car etc, it just got wheeled in front of me and left. Not impressed with the service and wouldn't like to return to this store to be honest.

At Glenrothes store I had the best shopping experience. George went above and beyond in helping with the products I bought. He was such a wonderful and cheery person. It made my day. Thanks

I was interested in the paint offer buy one get half price , but this excluded internal white paint WHY ? anyway I bought some paint then my daughter noticed the offer so I asked for it , we went round the house's with one of the staff at customer service , got absolutely nowhere, so my daughter said "what about the interior / exterior white paint, no that does not apply as it states interior , actually she was wrong this was in the store at Glenrothes . Disappointed

Extremely helpful staff. Two male and one female. Great advice, helped me to find the perfect brushes for painting my fence and carried over my two big 9 litre tubs of paint that I had to collect to my car. Very pleasant female serving on tills. Bought some Elbow Grease Window spray too that was near the till and looked at all the lovely houseplants.
