Homebase - Hamilton Reviews 

Visited the Hamilton store today for a rug i seen online. The size i needed wasnt on the shop floor although shown in stock instore online, but staff were only to happy to find one in the store room. Very helpful and a special thumbs up for Gaye who served us today.

Gaye was very helpful.

Went in looking for fire starter paper for my pizza oven, had a look in bbq section to no avail, asked a lovely gentleman named Tommy who directed me to the heater section at the back of store, I would of never thought to have looked there. Great product knowledge by Tommy and saved family pizza night. Thank you.

Visited Homebase at Hamilton to purchase a curtain pole and door stop. Found the doorstop in store. I was confused with the prices of curtain poles as there were several tickets on shelving saying some had 50%discount but there were no tickets on items to indicate which ones. Limited choice of extendable type. No staff around to ask. Decided not to purchase. Only one staff member on till points.

I was in the Hamilton Store yesterday and served at the checkout by Gaye. She was very helpful as my purchases - plants and bushes - were all quite bulky. I was delighted with the plants. She also told me about the stores special offers and I bought Garden Gloves and a black bucket. Very happy.

The Estate Emulsion is not wipeable as stated.
A few marks on the wall which did not wipe has now needed the full wall redone. Do not buy this paint if you need to be able to lightly wipe away marks. Thanks

Went to Hamilton branch for sand. Lady called Gaye was excellent. She’s a credit to Homebase

Have visited the Hamilton store twice this week. Both time we were helped by a very helpful young man Darren. He gave us great advice on edging, once we had chosen what we wanted he loaded our trolley. We returned later in the week to purchase garden furniture again Darren was on hand to help load into car all done with a smile. It was refreshing to get such brilliant customer service. Thank you Darren what a star you are.
In addition I’d like to add every assistant we spoke to in store was very helpful and polite a credit too the store.

Ordered on line, picked up within the hour, great value for money

Sale items I wanted were delivered to nearby store for collection. Staff helpful and quick at pickup. Good customer service.

My experience was great a bit of spiders in the bathtub displays at the checkout Gaye was friendly and chatty and funny overall great experience
