fantastic customer service! i bought 25 paint testers and the price wouldn't work on the till so each one had to be entered manually! it took Evelyn (231876) ages and I said I'd leave them but she said "that's ok" and did them for me anyway

Such a shame that they are closing. Staff have always been super helpful and friendly and continue to be despite the loss of their jobs. Great customer service from Evelyn on the tills. I wish them all well x

FRIENDLY, HELPFUL STAFF.

I have previously left great feedback about this store and in particular Evelyn who on previous occasions was kind and helpful. Not on this occasion she was rude and condescending. I leaned across to touch one of the Christmas decorations to se how sturdy it was and got shouted at in front of other customers telling me I should know better. I’m not 5 years old and didn’t appreciate being spoken to like that. Was in the store Friday night. Long queues 1 till open. Evelyn came over to open a till and started arguing with her colleague in front of customers about what till she wanted to be on telling her colleague to move. With customer service like this it’s no wonder the administrators have been called in. Such a shame. Shopped at this store and been loyal to Homebase for years.

Evelyn at the Luton store was really helpful helping us obtain a specific set of Christmas tree lights. Approachable, pleasant, kind and really helpful. She had knowledge of where products are in the store and was an all round excellent store assistant. Thank you for a pleasant experience visiting our local store.

Received 'order ready for collection' notification very soon after placing the order.
The young man who dealt with me at collection point was very helpful and polite.

Trouble free collection and staff lovely

The price was good, parking was easy and my goods were immediately available.
