Homebase - Maidenhead Reviews 

I’m rating this a 4 out of 5 because the server had the patience of a saint. The queue was long and she politely called for help on the headset and her colleagues took their pretty little time coming to help. Me and other ppl queuing said we would have lost our patience with the colleagues. She was calm, polite and just so lovely.

I placed an online order for collection over 4 weeks ago. Despite all items showing as 'in stock' it seems there were issues with their system as the store rang and informed me items within my order weren't available. They confirmed I could part-collect the order and they would refund for the products not available.
When collecting the items from store it was then confirmed that the refund would arrive in my account within 3-5 business days.
A week later no refund arrived so I reached out to their online customer service chat. They said I must wait a further 3 business days for them to speak with the store and issue a refund.
3 days later. No refund. I reached out again and was told the same story.
It has now been the best part of 4 weeks and I've spoken to their customer service advisors on 5 separate occasions to discuss this. Each and every time have been told to wait a further 3 business days. Suffice to say at 4 weeks since part-collection of the order it has well surpassed 3 business days.
I do not believe Homebase will ever refund my missing items, so that indeed makes them thieves. No one has taken this seriously and has shown no effort to resolve this issue. Absolutely appalling behaviour from a business.

Given delivery day was incorrect - it was 3 days late and the product I bought isn’t fit for purpose

Easy, friendly staff

Easy to order online. Received a text message within half an hour letting me know my order was ready to collect. The collection was seamless and the staff very helpful. Very happy with the product too.

Everyone was helpful and professional and friendly

Excellent service- the Click and Collect desk wasn’t manned but the staff member immediately sorted out our collection and even brought it to our car. Very helpful 😊

Placed Click & Collect order 9pm Thursday ready to collect early Friday morning. Collection was quick, efficient and all staff pleasant and helpful.

Unable to purchase in store so chose click and collect option. Ordered late afternoon and was able to collect at 8am the following morning.. Very Happy

Super fast and efficient click and collect at the Homebase Maidenhead

We popped over to Maidenhead branch this morning to pick up some sample pots for Cuprinol outdoor paint. We knew they didn't have the paints we thought we would like on the shelf so after deciding which colour we ordered online and my husband was able to nip over and pick them up within an hour. And joy of joys we got buy one pot get 50% off the second one so we ordered 4 pots. Very happy with the price and service. They also had very good value potting plants which we picked up earlier. All in all a very good experience.

On arriving home I unpacked the lawnmower to find no battery in the box. Took the mower back to the store, on lnvestigation someone had carefully cut an access hole in the side of the box and stole the battery, the box had not been put put on the store floor so the battery was stolen on delivery or in the store room, I was given another new mower which was checked b4 I took it home. Customer service was excellent,

Two of your staff were very slick in organising the pick up on a trolley. Great service.
