The amazing team of staff at Homebase Ruislip, London branch. Ultra friendly, engaging, fun anecdotal chats and got me the right items (was complicated) without rushing. Whoever has trained them, well done. They really made my day! Can’t speak highly enough.

I am updating my review I left yesterday as a short while ago I was pleasantly surprised to receive a refund for the wrong compost bags I had collected from store. A big thank you to Amy from the escalations team for picking up on my complaint and for dealing with it on my behalf. I had not contacted the store to complain myself as I felt partially responsible for not checking the items myself before leaving the store. Thank you again Amy for dealing with this so promptly.

Served by Daren in homebase Ruislip who went out of his way to make sure I got all I needed from the store. To extent that he carried the heavy stools to my car and your assistant who was wearing a brace on her leg offered to help. You both made my first shopping experience in that store good. Thank you so much.

Just visited The homebase in Ruislip. We were collecting our order using the click and collect service. We decided to have a look around the store. Staff members were really friendly, especially Sandra who helped us out massively! We will be sure to visit the store again to purchase our garden furniture too. Thank you once again Sandra for all of your help.

I went in looking for a door mat for our patio doors. I couldn’t find it with the rugs or with the external door mats. Pratima saw me looking a bit lost and came over to help. She took the SKU and went a searched out the back and came back with exactly what I was after.

Simple & straightforward to click & collect

I ordered the item online for click and collect.I received a telephone call to inform me that the item was not in stock,the customer service caller arranged for it to be collected from another store and delivered to my local store.It saved me loads time otherwise I would have had to shop around.

I needed play sand, I bumped into sally (didn’t know) in another shop on her day off she rang over to Darren who checked for me and then soon as I got to the shop Darren helped me to to get the sand to my car. I have never in any other shop experience such help and kindness. The Ruislip Homebase people are amazing. I’m so grateful for there help.

Team on the till was friendly, professional and was willing to go extra mile

I was looking for Patio Magic, which wasn't on the shelf. Matt was very helpful and went to check the stock levels and the warehouse, then came back to advise me why this wasn't available today. In the meantime he suggested that I take a seat in the garden furniture section. He also helped me to adjust a garden swing seat to a higher level so that I could judge if this would suit me. It did - I'll be back. Then he helped me to scan the QR code on the receipt. Success! So here is a well deserved thank you from me. And also thank you to the girls on the till - they are always friendly and helpful. The loss of 1 star is only because the item I wanted is not in stock, but I understand that this will become available again soon.
