Picked lamp up click and collect

Picked lamp up, wasn’t in a box. Upon closer look when I’ve got home it’s clearly an ex display item as has got a bulb in and it’s damaged on both the base and marks on the shade. Waste of time going to collect. I’d ordered this online so wasn’t expecting an ex display item.

Ordered two tiles

Ordered two tiles. Got them home to find they were the wrong tiles. Took back to store and assistant told me they couldn’t find the ones I’d ordered so gave me these instead!
I found them myself on the shelf. Trying to lift both packs, I overbalanced on the floor. Member of staff simply walked past me without saying a word. Possibly the worst service I have ever received in a shop

Poor stock check

Called in store and found item was shown out of stock on display. Asked an assistant if they had any in the store room as online it’s 6 were available. He ‘checked’ and said they had none left. I then ordered click & collect from same store and went home. An hour later received a text saying my order was ready for collection. Very irritating!!

I ordered 3 storage boxes and lids got home to only two lids!!

Click and Collect works well

Ordering Click and Collect is good as you know that you will get what you want. Your order is generally available quickly though I had to wait a few minutes on this occasion. Someone helps load your order in the car which is helpful. The value of what I wanted - on this occasion was good.

Thanks Lorraine for you excellent service

Lorraine on customer service till was absolutely wonderful
Really helpful above and beyond. Cheerful and made our visit to your store a really good experience.
Just one down side unfortunately and that was a member of staff on the floor who we had asked for help with a bbq He was ? Having a bad day ? Really blunt and miserable. Made us feel a right pain. I believe he was the duty manager ! Good job his staff don't act the same way.

Own branded tool broke in one day?!

Own branded tool broke in one day?!

Bought a Homebase branded lawn edger and it broke the first time using it, customer service were useless and basically I'm out of pocket, not shopping at Homebase again for quality and customer service reasons.
Just to confirm it wasn't me at fault, bought a replacement at a more popular DIY store and that one is way better made and had no issues for roughly the same price too
