Hi,Firstly I was supposed to have my…

Hi,Firstly I was supposed to have my order by Wednesday and had left instructions with courier for items to be left in garage but 1 item was left outside my front door I am still waiting on the rest being delivered and this is now Saturday. I don't mean to be rude but I think courier company should be changed to avoid instructions not being carried out and to avoid damage to boxes as well I have not yet checked to see if their is any damage done to the furniture that is Inside the box

I was sent damaged goods.

I was sent damaged goods.
Very poor service. I've rang left messages explaining my situation, sent lots of emails with details and photos. Still waiting for the plan on next steps.
Frustrating!! And stressful because I now have 2 large packages of damaged goods stuck in my hallway and no info as to how it will be resolved.

Furniture is ok

Furniture is ok . Some instructions incorrect. Delivery by one company was fine . Dx delivery sent clear information and delivered to front door and brought inside for me as heavy. DHL delivered other furniture and it was an absolute balls up ! Information sent wrong , then delayed then said hadn’t received it! Then contacted home discount and told because of bank holiday?! I ordered after the bank holidays! DHL sent email today at 10.38 saying delivery today between 18.00 and 19.00 . I just came home and the package which is a table had been Dropped over my back garden gate . Not even attempting to contact me or come to front door which is what you’d expect! Email came later saying delivered. At 12.55 !
I’m disabled and have had to drag the heavy box up my back garden path and wiggle it in the back door without unbalancing myself in the mean time! Absolutely terrible service!
Change your delivery from DHL ! Letting your company down drastically.

Second time ordering from this company

Second time ordering from this company. First time the item never showed up but gave them the benefit of a doubt seeing as they 'had no idea what has happened' and they refunded me.
This time I ordered two items separately. One showed up damaged and the others still to be heard of! I've messaged loads of times with no reply. Please get in contact with me to resolve this issue as it is unacceptable!

Chelsea Radiator Cover - White, Large


Ordered this product last week. Delivery was standard and all pieces were included. After assembly it looked very cheap and not really fitting together tightly enough. Photos of the product are very misleading as it shows the top part of the radiator as one piece of mdf this is not the case it is split into 2 halves. I wouldn’t recommend worth paying more money to get a better quality.

Terrible

Terrible. I was sent a radiator cover with missing pieces. I then contacted the company and they said they would send over the missing pieces. They sent over the wrong pieces despite me specifying with photo evidence which pieces were missing. I would not shop from here again.

Home Discount were awesome

Home Discount were awesome, but the couriers that they used for this order, XDP Express, must have chosen their name with maximum irony in mind. I am sure they are responsible for causing the poor reviews for this seller. After a month of going back and forth, tracing the most bizarre courier tracking ever, the seller gave option of a refund or a replacement, as the parcel was presumed to be lost. I chose refund as I thought they might use XDP again, & bought the same item from Amazon. After the refund had gone through, both the Amazon bookshelves arrived & missing one a few days later! Couriers insisted on leaving the parcel at our house, even though we did not want it by then. On building the Amazon bought Vida Corona bookshelves, my husband really liked them and thought he might be able to fit the Home Discount bookshelves in there as well, if he took out an small bookcase, so we made offer to Home Discount to buy this one too. They said after all the hassle, we could keep it! What an amazingly decent and honest company! The bookselves themselves looked great once assembled and the back is real wood, not cheap hardboard, as most of the makes of Corona style cabinets seem to have these days. We are amazed at Home Discount's kindness and generosity, so they surely deserve a 5 star review. I hope they get better luck with their choice of courier next time. Many thanks indeed.

Excellent product

Excellent product, easy assembly. I purchased a small and medium and my friend was so impressed she asked me to get her a large one. Very easy to assemble and look much more expensive than they are. I am a 75 year old woman with arthritis and I had not problem assembling it for her although it was easier with two than doing the others in my own.

Disgraceful

You would think, with so many 1 star reviews, Home Discount Ltd would up their game...but no. I ordered from them via The Range on 31st Dec. I had to then chase up a tracking number which I found was for XDP. The tracking isnt accurate and communication is very poor. Home Discount wont respond to me directly unless through The Range first, which is ridiculous because as a buyer my contract as a consumer is with Home Discount and NOT The Range. The order was meant to be delivered on 6th January, but I've still no idea where it is. I can't stay home every day waiting as I have work to go to and kids to sort out. XDP have emailed me to say they have not even received any goods from Home Discount to deliver to me, which is also concerning. Many reviews of a similar nature, yet they can't be bothered to provide a good service when people are giving them money!! If the item is not delivered by the weekend ill just get my credit card provider to get my money back and buy elsewhere.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for the delay in the delivery of your order from us. We have had some issues with delays in dispatch, this is due to the sheer volume of orders received during the festive period. I understand that this is not an excuse for poor service, and I apologise again for the inconvenience that this has caused to you.
We have learnt lessons and have put processes in place to avoid such delays in the future.
When an order has been placed on a marketplace, all communications must go through them, this is for them to monitor us as a seller. This is not an ideal situation when there are delays in messages being passed through, this is something we will talk to the marketplace about and see if we can change this when there is an unprecedented volume of orders and queries.
I can see that the order has been delivered to you, albeit later than expected.
Once again, I apologise for the delay in the delivery and for the inconvenience this has caused.

Shambles from start to finish

Item was ordered on the 31st of December via Amazon, with an expected delivery date of the 4th or 5th of January. The 5th of January arrived and I contacted the carrier, DX Freight, who said they hadn’t even received the item from Home Discount yet, so it wouldn’t be delivered that day.

Fast forward to the 6th of January, the item was marked as out for delivery, but the delivery failed as apparently DX couldn’t find my address (which I suspect was another lie). I rearranged delivery again for the 7th. On the 7th, there were no tracking updates, so I contacted DX who said it was not out for delivery due to a delay at the depot. They then asked me to book another delivery day, which is pointless when they have failed to deliver on the last three attempts.

Home Discount’s customer service is almost non-existent. When they do bother to respond, the answers are generic. I’m now taking it through Amazon for a refund. I will never use Home Discount again.

I have checked through the couriers tracking and it does show that delivery was attempted on 3 occasions. On checking the GPS, I can see that the driver was at the wrong address at the time to the alleged deliveries. I have passed this information onto our account manager, there may need to be further driver training required.
The orders that we received over the festive period was far bigger volume that was expected, this did unfortunately put the courier network under more pressure. This is no excuse for poor service, and I apologise again for the inconvenience that this has caused to you,
I can see that we have issued a full refund of the purchase price.
