Being brought up in South Africa, in a family strongly affiliated with interior design, I feel I have an eye for detail and know what I want in a space. I also think one can never have enough inputs and stimuli when making (creative) decisions, which is why I contacted HomeShakers. I was very pleased with the experience from first contact to final delivery. I used the Deluxe package for my living room and I must admit I was a tough client… I had a sense of urgency, strong will and a specific idea in mind. The designers persevered, asked the right questions and quickly understood what I was after enabling them to make great suggestions. The end result is excellent and I was pleasantly surprised at the suggestions they made which led to valuable furniture and decoration additions.

The 3D rendering of the space also greatly aided me in making decisions, with the greatest value coming from the kitchen overhaul, which was strongly encouraged by the Homeshakers team and ended up being a great time and money saver! I was one of the earlier customers and helped pilot the system which has undoubtedly leapfrogged since then. This means I was never exposed to the great set of collaboration tools which are available today and almost certainly enable the designers to provide an even bigger personal touch. As said, I used the service in the early days and I was impressed by the depth and breadth of service back then, I am 100% confident that the service today is even better and I would undoubtedly recommend Homeshakers for anyone seeking custom advice for their favourite spaces!
