Super job! My daughters tyre was leaking. Changed tyre and cleaned all alloy re sealing. Explained before completed work and was super quick.

Ordered for new tyre online, had a call shortly after to confirm sizing and type of tyre needed, really helpful over the phone and whatsapp! Richard came out to me at home the next day, really friendly and job was done in 10 minutes, can’t fault at all and will use again if/when needed!

I thought this company was exactly what it says it is and what you would expect a company to be... officiant right from the first phone call to end product... On time, polite, helpful, very very reasonable on price, and when their competitors are so so much more expensive they must know they could raise price's but they dont. Just one of those companies you want to use again and pass on to others

I had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The booking process was easy, and the customer service was friendly and professional. The service provided was prompt and of high quality, all at a very reasonable price. It’s hard to find a better or more convenient way to change your tyres. I highly recommend them.

What a breath of fresh air, arrangements were made quickly and without fuss. The price was good and the service was outstanding. Lee was polite, quick and explained everything. My new tyre was fitted on the same day I called and within two hours. I would highly recommend Hometyre.

I had a puncture on my company van today and called Hometyre for help. Richard arrived promptly and was extremely polite and helpful throughout. When we realised the tool to remove the spare wheel was missing from the van, he went above and beyond — even driving around town to find one so he could get me back on the road.
The service was absolutely 10/10, and the price was very reasonable too. I couldn’t have asked for better help. I’d highly recommend Hometyre to anyone — a truly professional and customer-focused company!

Can’t praise this guy enough. 2nd time in 12 months I’ve needed to use them. Comes with an extra tyre just in case the other needs doing. Speedily done.

Below is the reason for a 1 star review.
It states how the wheel was put on with an air hammer stressing the bolts to the max, giving them the potential to shear whilst being driven.
As you can see the MD will put the blame back on you should you have an issue with there shoddy workman ship. He'll also tell you lies of how great a mechanic they are, but choose to stand in a roasting hot van in the summer and a freezer of a van in the winter whist working in the ran. I call Liar.
Yes he can pretend I never had to use a 2 foot long breaker bar whist hitting it with a lump hammer get the bolts to move. But you know what I don't care what this low life thinks. If he his happy to put his customers lives at risk by using an air hammer instead of a torque wrench that's up to him.
Me, I replaced the bolts at my cost with genuine bolts to ensure the safety. This pathetic MD clearly places money over the safety of his customers
If your reading this it's your choice. Use Home tyre and if your bolts are tightened to a limit I don't know but would guess in excess of 400nm and not the 140 they should be. When you drive around a corner and the bolts put under more stress holding the wheel on, will they sheer and the wheel come off at speed is anyones guess.
Me I'll find another company that knows how to use a torque wrench and have the job done correctly.
If you think this is fun, you're right it is. I found the shoddy workmanship and did the repair with my childs safety back to where it should be. However look at his reply. I contacted this moron privately and instead of chatting with me the idiot took it to a public platform such as trust pilot. Clearly thinks he's winning as he displays his poor management skills on here.
He couldn't manage a good wee.
I'll get one of the many companies that supply and fit tyres correctly and home tyre can pat themselves on the back saying good job.
For the second time I used HomeTyre.
This time I had 4 continentals on my daughters BMW.
In January I had the same tyres on her Fiat 500.
The fitter was good and he told me it was his business and I was impressed.
The BMW had to sit on the drive for a week whilst my daughters got her first years no claims.
In that week one of the new tyres deflated, so I called Hometyre and informed them the car hadn't moved so con't be a puncture.
I removed the tyre and put water on the back of the bead and found multiple leaks. Video and sent to Hometyre. I am told a fitter will be out but looks like corrosion and any additional work may be charged.
A different fitter attended as the usual one was on holiday, which he had said when he was fitting the 4 tyres.
The new fitter came and job was done and no charge. All good.
Today , a month later I want to replace the pads and discs all round. Went round the car with a breaker bar to loosen the bolts that should be 140nm tight.
The three from the original fitter were tight and took some effort, I am confident they were as they should have been.
The one that had a puncture was solid. They would not move. I am not weak and weigh 16 stone and I could not get them this tight if I tried.
To get them loose I had to use a 24inch breaker bar pushing down with all I had whilst hitting the back of the breaker bar over the socket with a lump hammer. Eventually they come undone.
This level of tightness will stress the bolts and when driving I fear could shear them as they have been taken way past there molecular structure strength.
I believe mistakes are made and what you do is what separates the good from the bad.
I have basically been called a liar. I assume they think I want a freebie. I will post the reply beneath this so you can see for your self and this is the MD.
I have removed names so they can't have me take this down.
If I had to remove this tyre at the side of the road there would have been no chance. And the MD thinks it's ok to insult me.
Needless to say I will just us Tyres on the drive or one of the many other tyre companies. Theres loads of them and I will be sure to tell all I can of not just the poor workmanship but the rotten attitude of the MD.
FYI, I didn't wait for them to come out as I had started the job and you and didn't want to wait days till I could get it done. I wanted to make sure the breaks were the correct ones before I couldn't return them if they weren't.
Addition. You claim that you offered a reasonable solution. This was for me to stop what I am doing and wait for Hometyre to visit. When would this have been? Then as I am not capable of knowing when bolts have been destroyed due to incompetence you state you have no way of confirming because I didn't wait for Hometyre. Clearly self important and expect everyone to gravitate around you.
New bolts. That would have been good.
Where from? My bolts are BMW genuine items, yours are "Standard Bolts" what ever that means.
You claim you have no way of establishing but also your going to push out the torquing procedure. Which is it

Called for a replacement tyre on Friday afternoon, couldn’t get me in until Tuesday. Said I would call back if I can’t get it done sooner and put the phone down, 2 mins later they called back and could be slotted in Saturday afternoon, on Saturday morning had a call, they were still waiting for tyre and would be delayed by an hour. Smack on time they turned up to replace the tyre, was excellent service and informed me all the way through. Very polite and reasonable cost for the at home tyre replacement. Will definitely use again.

I had 2 new front tyres fitted to my car.
Good price and excellent service. Even the alloys got cleaned.

I was informed by several colleagues at work that I had a flat tyre. On inspection, sure enough there was a big piece of metal stuck in the tread and the car sitting on its wheel rim. Time to call Hometyre again. They sourced a tyre and Richard had replaced it all within a couple of hours. Great service all round. Thanks everyone!

I was wary about using a company I'd not heard of, but decided to trust the positive reviews. I'm glad I did, as it was a very straightforward experience. The staff on the phone were friendly, quick to call and arrange a appointment to have new tyres for all four wheels. Mark (in Shrewsbury) came on time the next day, again was friendly, and all I had to do was sit watching Wimbledon whilst he efficiently did his work. They were cheaper than other companies and I would highly recommend them.

Thank you Hometyre once again for your first class service and fitting me in by coming to sort my tyre out so I could get in work on time! A brilliant company with excellent staff who are professional and friendly along with very competitive prices. Would never use anyone else!!!

Amazing! Mechanic came within an hour! Incredible service! Thoroughly recommend

Made a booking and mechanic came next day ( there’s also same day options).
Mechanic phoned 1hr before my appointment and notified me he’s running late due to a stuck locking nut. He arrived exactly on his newly stated time.
Though he was late the excellent follow up made for a great easy experience

Repaired my punctured tyre at home quickly and at a reasonable price.

Really easy. Booked online on a bank holiday. The booking was confirmed by text for the next day and then they rang first thing to double check all the details. Richard arrived right on time and was able to repair the tyre. Brilliant!

Excellent service all round! From the online booking (next day fitting available, which wasn't available with a number of other companies that I'd checked first), to the helpful confirmation call to confirm the booking and time. Ben, the fitter assigned, could not have been more helpful. He was also incredibly professional, friendly and efficient. Really impressed with the whole service!

Excellent service and a really good price. 4 caravan tyres, fitted onsite, and for what we expected to pay if we took it somewhere to be done. Really quick and punctual. Will absolutely NOT be taking my car to a garage for tyres again. These guys are brilliant
