Avoid this platform at all cost

I rarely leave a bad review but this time I will share my selling experience with the worst e-commerce platform I've ever seen.

Firstly the whole website is bad, they have an old, and buggy interface that is hard to navigate, and it will take you ages to figure out everything.

Secondly, their method of charging fees is unfair and common, they don't have credit cards, or PayPal as a fee payment method. Hood.de is using SEPA debit to collect fees from sales and shop subscriptions - if they can't collect, they charge an 8 euro extra. In my case they never were able to charge my bank account, despite having enough balance (my bank account is in the SEPA zone), support won't help of course because they know nothing.

And thirdly they're an incompetent bunch of thieves. I forgot to pay one invoice, and they sent me a reminder, the invoice is constructed in a way that you won't understand how much you need to pay. Besides total value without tax, there's something called Kontoausgleich HoodPay. I'm not from Germany, so I didn't know what it means so I asked to support how much I needed to pay and Marvin A. told to pay me "39 euro + 8 euro fee" I paid this amount and I though everything is good since I have already closed my store and this was my last invoice.

But after 2 weeks I got an email that they would launch a dunning procedure if I didn't pay the invoice - still, there wasn't information about how much more I need to pay in the email. I immediately contacted support - explaining that I had already paid the amount also I included a bank transfer confirmation of 47 euros. And asking if everything is good. The support assistant called Markus W. who I don't know if he's so incompetent or too lazy to read my whole message and answer my other questions, told me "
I will be happy to forward your proof of payment to our billing office for processing. " So again I thought that email about dunning was a system mistake or sth like that.

Unfortunately, on 24.06 I got an email that a "dunning procedure" was launched against me so once again I asked if I owed hood.de some money I got a generic reply from the same guy: "I have checked your inquiry and can inform you that chargeback fees are charged based on our terms of use and do not require further billing."

A week later I got an email from the debtist about unsettled 41 euro debt. Ah, what's funny enough after that Markus W. explained the invoice and told me that Kontoausgleich HoodPay also are some fees that need to be paid. I wasn't informed about them before.

Kontoausgleich HoodPay fees were 14.95 euro + 25 euro debt dunning fee = 40 euro lost.

Besides the nerves, I lost 40 euro extra.

In conclusion, I ran over in some overcharging scheme. Hood.de is a scammy platform that wants to charge fees without informing you before accepting the terms, also support is unprofessional - especially Markus W. who didn't tell me on purpose that I haven't paid the invoice in full yet or if he is an ignorant person who doesn't care about his clients.

By the way, I forgot to include, while using hood.de I sold 1 item and never received any money from the sale. On the second day after when the sale happened my hood.de account balance was cleared from 4.95 euro to 0. I think I don't need to tell you what they have done to my money.

i ordered an ebike

i ordered an ebike, YG90. the bike arrived nicely and smoothly within a few days, less than a week ( to Austria). not only the box was fine, i also found a few surprizes inside, like...a helmet for my bike, a small bag, a small pump etc. very nice touch, i didnt even order those extra things. overall- i am super satisfied with Hood.de. recommended!

I made an order after some days I got the email that the seller is going on vacation so I can get my order after two weeks.
So I thought everything is fine I can wait.
After two weeks I got the email that the seller doesn’t want to sell anymore and canceled the order from there side.😩

I made an order and paid directly for…

I made an order and paid directly for kitchen at date 25th of March 2024. Many times I tried to call the company number but nobody from the company replied. Only the represent of hood.de staff replied. And I have to say nobody on the phone can talk English. I always found someone who can speak German language for help. And always they said they are not responsible, please wait tomorrow the responsible company staff will call you. But nobody called me. Finally one person who worked for the hood.de shared with us an e-mail address of the company. Then I sent a message and the person replied “wait for end of May”. I wait and then one mail again and answer came “ Good day, you ordered on March 25th. From this point on, production takes 6 weeks in working days excluding weekends and holidays. After production, the goods are cleared away, rearranged and given to the shipping company, which takes another week.“ So still waiting. 13 weeks but nothing. Now I have nothing no mail or no call. Because of them I had to buy new kitchen. All my plans broken. Thanks for this experience.

Your mail came to me. But the supplier did not replied so I sent an e-mail again and ask the supplier “when the delivery time? Within 14 workdays I want my product. If not I will use my legal rights.” And then the supplier answered “company is on vacation please contact with us after 05 June”
