Their whole system is just wrong and I wonder how are they still in business .. something fishy here but anyways .. starting from an engineer who came for 30 seconds to tell us "What we already knew and said needs repair then leaving to say he'll be back next week . Of course he wasn't back and upon calling customer service to asking why has no one come while I worked from home that day for that thing..I got the worst customer service call ever .. and understood their ridiculous system that they send the spare parts to the engineer's home .. what kind of professionality is that? Then they basically said the parts got dispatched and will arrive shortly and they'll call .. few weeks later with no call..they sent an email saying that the parts are not available and they will offer us a new oven at a discounted price .. the only point here is that they don't guarantee that the oven will be installed .. so I might have an oven in a box that I didn't want but the spare parts aren't available and not have it installed or the old oven even taken away .. what kind of customer service is that? Only the worst.
Literally the worst customer service I encountered in my life. What kind of company doesn't have a central warehouse and what kind of ovens company doesn't install their ovens? obviously, Hoover; the worst.
Hoover = Garbage
This is a garbage product and even worse support. How do these companies stay in business? I bought a carpet cleaner in June of 2022, spent $200 on it. After about 2.5 years and 6 uses the top tank began leaking, not from a crack but from the valve that lets clean water from the tank into the machine.
I cannot find a new tank anywhere, there is no way to "fix" the valve, and Hoover told me to get bent. Used tanks cost over 1/4 the cost of the machine.

I bought a hoover H 500 washing machine December 2024. Constant loud banging noise in between rinsing. They said it was water hammer, engineer not really interested in fixing the problem. I am cutting my losses and getting rid of this rubbish for a superior brand.

I bought a Hoover WASHER DRYER 8KG H3D 4852DE/1-80 from LookAgain/Freemans. -
For the few weeks that it worked the dryer was next to useless and the washer was not much better. It seems to be designed more for net zero than washing clothes. -
Ordered Freemans/LookAgain 28th August 2024 - delivered 2nd October 2024 in a filthy condition, FIVE WEEKS LATER.
It LASTED TEN WEEKS then broke down completely. LookAgain/Freemans refused to help because it had lasted more than 30 days. Hoover have so far spun it out with daft questions. So in total, I have had to wash by hand for three and a half months and still no help thanks to HOOVER and LookAgain/Freemans.

Worse appliance and customer service ever. Bought my washing machine not even stopped 6 months ago. It's broke down due to manufacture fault. Not able to give me any information about repair day (it's been two weeks). Not able to fix front wall of the washing machine (damaged due to fault). They keep using word cosmetics damage even if it's visible from a distance. Do not recommend this company at all.
Hoover H Dry 300 lite - pointless
Bought Hoover H Dry 300 lite. Didn’t work from the start. The touch start button doesn’t work. Delivered yesterday and 2 calls to Currys has ended with no engineers available so waiting for a callback from their planner. Extremely disappointed and radiators covered in my laundry.
Purchased a HF2 pet hoover
Purchased a HF2 pet hoover, which is great but the battery doesn't charge so either battery or charger faulty. Spent 3hrs on the customer service whatsapp to no avail (parts on back order so up to 4w wait with no working vacuum, said in that case send a new one and they said I'd need to email a different team so back to square one). 2 business days for that email to reply initially and ongoing communications are unbelievably poor - they also decided to not respond for another 2 working days once communication line established. Asked for a phone call to speed things up three times (as I've not been able clean the house!!) - ignored. Requested an escalation to a manager 3 times, ignored. 1 week down and countless time spent on my part trying to rectify and I'm still no further on. I have no power to do more, as they ONLY supply an email.
My request is now to refund, and I'll purchase an alternative with a more reputable company which is a shame as I really loved the vacuum but life is honestly too short to deal with terrible companies who don't care at all about their customers.

My family bought a fridge freezer. The compressor broke after 3 months causing us to lose our shopping. Customer service has been among the worst I have encountered—lack of replies, rude, no urgency to remedy the situation, misleading efforts to upsell unneeded additional warranty, lies about logging complaints and follow up. VisionR Ovens That Cook Unevenly & Never Get Hot
I have 2 VisionR ovens that never reach high temperatures and cook unevenly, even on fan oven mode. The grill never gets up high enough to brown…it just melts stuff. I had an engineer out under warranty and he replaced both motherboards in the ovens, but they still don’t work. Hoover now suggest that I pay for an engineer to visit again but I genuinely think these ovens are just terrible and can’t be fixed. The last engineer said they were working perfectly now. It’s just that you can’t even cook a frozen pizza evenly and forget about browning the top of a pie or cooking a roast properly. I wish Hoover dropped the internal cameras and internet screens and just created an oven that cooks stuff….I’m at a point where I will have to replace 2.5 year old / 3.5k of ovens because I can’t rely on them to cook for a family of four.

If there was a zero I would have given it. We bought a 10kg condenser dryer on 28/11/23 and on 20/11/24 the dryer starting tripping the electrics for the house. We narrowed it down by trying different sockets and it tripped every time and no other appliances did. By the time we did this it was a couple of days out of its 1 year warranty. Despite this Hoover refused to cover anything saying it’s out of warranty. I would not expect an appliance to last 1 year and no more. Customer service was unhelpful to say the least and a complete waste of time. It’s a common problem according to online research so should be fixed to stop others having the same experience. It was£300 so not good value and completely different to what they advertised for their products.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Hoover's customer service. After chatting with their WhatsApp team, I called their helpline today on 03444995599 around 12:55 pm. The representative I spoke with was incredibly unprofessional, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to my concerns.
When I mentioned that Domestic & General offers a more affordable price, he brushed it off and showed no interest in discussing options or helping further. I initially called to book an engineer but ultimately decided to go with another company due to the appalling customer service.
Such behaviour is unacceptable, and I would not recommend Hoover.co.uk to anyone based on this experience. Customer service should be helpful and accommodating—not dismissive and rude.

I have been trying to reach Hoover by phone for five months due to a problem with a product of theirs. Then you go on the chat session and nobody can help you there either. You can’t even leave a message when you call them. This is ridiculous. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

They've turned off their customer service phone lines. They say to call between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday press two for United States press one for English then press three to troubleshoot or talk to someone. When you do all this you get an automated message that says that you have missed them and to try calling back another time. What they're doing is trying to force you to use their website which has an automated chatbot that will not let you talk to an actual human or resolve any actual problems. It will give you some troubleshooting links that you can click on and if you have done these and you're still having an issue it disconnects and says chat has ended. My Hoover product is a carpet cleaner. This is the fifth one I've owned in about that many years. The one I have right now I got three months ago as a replacement for the one that I bought in April that broke after 4 months of regular use. Now I have to get them to replace this unit and it seems that in the last few months they have completely changed their customer service to this automated system that actually provides no service. It's been a frustrating process. Fortunately I have a third party warranty so if this continues I will have them deal with Hoover directly seeing as I as a regular consumer have no recourse.
Hoover Purifier 500 no WiFi connectivity
Bought a Hoover air purifier 500 and it will not connect to the Internet. Judging by the amount of terrible reviews on here and on Amazon for their products I'm not the only one having issues with their tech. Looks like the lack of response to any of these reviews and the amount off them will contribute to never buying hoover products again.
