Hoover total shame on you. I have an insurance on my tumble dryer which broke down on 10/10/25. The engineer came on 29/10 and said the motor had gone and a new one needed to be ordered. After hearing nothing from hoover for over a week as engineer quoted, I called. Only to be told they had no idea when a motor would be available. I went back to my insurance company who said I was entitled to a replacement. A new dryer was ordered on 14/11 and a delivery slot for 28/11 was booked. On 27/11 an sms informed be this slot was not now available. After complaining a new slot was booked for tomorrow 5/12. I am disabled and I’ve organised to have old dryer removed making space ready for new one. I just tracked delivery time only to see order had been cancelled!!!!!!!! I still have sms confirming delivery tomorrow. I cannot tell you how angry I am. What excuses are you going to have when I call at 9:00am in the morning
Process for requesting extended guarantee a bit complicated - required uploading photos of invoice and machine serial number.
Included manual for the tumble drier is pretty much lacking any descriptions of symbols on the machine.
Initial startup requires choosing a language - not noticing this before pressing a button caused me to select Turkish as language - and a 20 minutes search online to find a manual describing how to change the language. Because this was not mentioned anywhere in the included manual.
Machine itself is, so far, running without problems.
Stay away from this brand, absolutely the worst quality on the market.
On 08/05/2023, I purchased a Hoover fridge freezer from Currys. On the 06/04/2024 I has to report the fact that it had broken down. Initially it was just the lower freezer that had broken down, but within days, the top fridge also broke down, leaving me without anything.
I was kept waiting until 17/04/2024 until an engineer from PACIFICA APPLIANCE SERVICES was available to call. During this period, I contacted then advising then that the original date of the 19/04/2024 would clash with a hospital appointment. I was then told that it could be even longer to wait if this original appointment was missed. The very next day they rang me back with a cancellation and that they could fit me in on 17/04/2024.
The engineer turned up and tested the fridge freezer and said that the compressor needed replacing. At that point he could not give me any indication of how long this would take. It was dependant on weather the part was in stock, or needed to be ordered. He also advised me that the waiting time was also dependant on engineer availability, as the job need a "double slot" of an hour as normally slots were only 30mins !!!
I have sent numerous e-mails to Haier
service @ hoovercandy .com.
But I feel that they are treating this problem with utter contempt and trivialising the effect that this is causing. Questions that I ask are ignored as if the reply is automated and I feel that I am not being listened to, or treated as a customer should be treated.
It is now 23/04/2024 and there is still not a sign of this issue being resolved, nor any indication as to when it will be resolved. The amount of food that I have had to throw away is scandalous to say the least!
All this is making me feel enormously let down, and to think seriously about ever purchasing a Hoover product again. And here we are, 27/04/2024, still without a fridge freezer !!!

14 months later... its broken. The mechanism that holds it in the vertical position (thin plastic) has snapped. This mechanism also turns the the brush bar on and off, and also activates the sensor to accommodate different floor types.
You will not be surprised to know that the guarantee is only 12 months. As I have absolutely no chance of a replacement, I have referred to the Hoover T's and C's, and what do you know, to get this fixed would cost more than twice as much as buying a new one.
Hoover used to be a brand that you could trust, however, that ship has long since sailed. Anyway, I'm going to try Trading Standards, as I believe this is a design fault, and therefore I should be entitled to some recompense.

Useless that the dryer mainly operates via a WiFi interface of 2.4 GHz when the router was a 5GHz one, and the machine on top of that has a dodgy physical user interface which clearly does not do exactly what the buttons indicate - Try to teach a 70 year old to use that !!!!

Cons: pumps are noisy. Drying is good, but the drying temperature is very high; you cannot hold a hand on the lid, even on low-heat and wool drying.
Probably the best washer-dryer machine (model HDPD696AMBC1-S) on the market today (February 2022).

I have bought a Washer'n Dryer and the mobile APP is not working very well. No matter what I do, it's not possible disable the Auto-dose function on the APP, which is quite enoying, since there is a lot of nice functionality. I hope there will be a fix very soon.
The machine it self seems alright. It gets my cloth cleen and very dry.
