Disgusting lack of care—left stranded at 1 AM in Amman
Hostelworld and Nomads Amman completely failed their duty of care and left us in a highly dangerous situation. We sent FIVE separate messages before our flight to notify them of our late arrival. Both Hostelworld and the property completely ignored us. We arrived at 1:00 AM to a completely dark, locked building with no one to let us in, stranded on the street in Amman during heightened regional tensions.When we contacted customer service, Hostelworld used a disgusting loophole, claiming we "didn't get confirmation"—an impossible task when they refuse to reply to messages. They took our money, ignored our safety, and left us stranded. Unacceptable and dangerous. Avoid at all costs

Great hostel on the edge of town
Great hostel on the edge of town with very responsive and helpful staff. The place could do with some (regular) maintenance though - some broken tap handles, loose and poorly repaired power sockets and the door in our dorm poorly repaired and very noisy to mention a few issues. Free breakfast should mention the need of tenants having to provide their own milk and eggs and own cooking (bit misleading).

Bookings for Alicante and Seville
My 2 bookings went very well but one complaint was I emailed the Ole Hostel in Alicante with a request after making my booking and never got a reply. On the other hand when I emailed my second booking at Joy Hostel in Seville I got an almost immediate reply.
