Incredible services (VPS at least). Performance is really good, the location of the VPS is real, their prices are really good.
I was geniunly impressed by this.

i tried many web hosting companies from about 2010 .. and changed them many many times .the only one that im with is HOSTSAILOR from 2017 till now and ill be forever .. and what the difference.. ill tell you
the really helpful teamwork customer services .. they are the best and really very fast response for solving any issues .. in addition something really awesome the HOSTSAILOR accepts crypto for purchase .. just one try for VPS on HOSTSAILOR you cannot think in another host ever ..

Had a great experience with hostsailor for years.

I tend to forget to pay my invoices but even after I've received three invoice overdue reminders, a suspension warning, and a final termination they are somehow always able to retrieve and restore my vm with a few hours or so.

Good hosting, had no issues with them. Cheaper than most major competitors. Easy to configure a cloud VPN server. Recommend it if you need a personal cloud server for running your pet projects or learning.

Its been a great journey so far with hostsailor, great customer support and service. Well recommended

Paid $220 for a VPS, they sent confirmation and login info. my sysadmin tried to connect to the server via SSH and saw that it was offline. so , right off the bat had to open a ticket and wait. at this point my sysadmin is refusing to start building anything on their service. after a couple of excuses about me not opening my ticket with the correct department, they offer to fix the problem and try again, but again my sysadmin is ready to move on. asked for a refund and was told that i can only get credit towards using their service, which i'm not interested in at this point. so, i'm eating the $220 loss, can't afford to invest days of work to set up on their "service" and risk unreliability and shady business practices. they should have just refunded me, i never even connected to their "server" which was offline. they care more about pocketing your money than taking care of their customers.

edit: i see they've responded to my one star review by saying "we always refund if a user asked, please share your ticket ID so we could investigate your case".

but i already asked for a refund, to which they responded:

"Hi,

We can only refund it to your credit balance as per our TOS because this order was used with a promo code."

which does absolutely nothing for me as i'm not interested in buying any of their "services". they should just refund the money without any conditions.

First, see the fake reviews below: there are no unmetered connections, and they certainly can't provide 900GB/s speed. Take any one-review-total post with a huge grain of salt.

My situation: I pre-paid $300 for a year's "Captian XEN" with six cores specifically to run a polkadot validator without any drama. Not rocket science, not very high bandwidth, your basic Proof-of-Stake crypto validator/masternode that can run on an any small VPS, ostensibly a six-core XEN node should have zero problems.

Unfortunately my validator is constantly shutting off via their automated system -- which then tells me to "purchase a XEN vps" for higher load. When I respond with "it is a XEN VPS, can you fix your automated software?" I receive pithy responses and no solution -- it just keeps shutting off. They were going to migrate my VM, but never did it.

The bottom line: There's no way you can run anything serious here. Certainly not any PoS chain where you're "slashed", or lose cyrptocoins for being offline. Don't even think of putting anything business-related at Hostsailor. They'll shut you down for a half day here, a day there, they don't seem to care at all.

And if you're just playing around, why not get a low-cost micro from AWS or free container from Oracle?

Further, SMTP port 25 for all clients is blocked in their routers. They want you to use their relay port/server -- it's not very reliable and goes down every couple of months. So all your email stops. Their relayhost's IP is in most RBLs, so your outgoing mail is constantly tagged SPAM or outright blocked. So I had to open a port on another SMTP server and set up a private relay, a needless waste of time...

This place is a bad joke with rude customer "service", look elsewhere!

UPDATE, A RESPONSE: "The server was suspended due to high network traffic causing issues with other servers in the node. You can contact us after 24 hours to reactivate the server."

The load isn't that high -- by their own metrics 65GB out of 4TB paid for the month -- far far under the contracted amount I pre-paid for, not sure how HostSailor's internal over-provisioning of their hardware has become my problem at my expense.

I asked for a refund per their TOS/uptime gaurantee and... ...crickets, no response.

I am hosting my sites on hostsailor from last 4 months. One day, I received a mail from cloudflare that there is a phishing url on my site, I logged in to cpanel to check it and found that there were lot of suspicious files in my directory. I don't know where these files come from. May be hosting was hacked or there may be a security breach in their server. I deleted all the suspicious files but some files were re-appearing again and again even after deleting them. So, I contacted their support team and asked to delete those irritating files and they deleted them successfully. But the very next day, they suspended my account due to phishing url. I contacted their support staff immediately and explained them very clearly that I never uploaded such phishing files. They asked me to contact at abuse(at)hostsailor.com. I sent an email to abuse(at)hostsailor.com explaining about the whole issue. Now, more than 4 days have passed but they are not replying nor restoring my suspended account. My company site is down and I am unable to receive business emails. I again contacted their support team that I am not getting any reply from abuse(at)hostsailor.com. I also asked them to send me the backup of my website, so that I can host them on some other host, but they refused by citing the reason that They can not restore the suspended account and send backup of the files as matter relates to abuse department. Now, the problem is that abuse department is not replying and my company website is down from last 4 days and files are stuck with their hosting. So, it is not a reliable hosting and they are so unresponsive.

When I first learned of Hostsailor, I thought I'd found something great: low-cost webhosting with good support.

After months of hosting sites with them, I was notified by the Legal Department of my Domain Registrar that two of my domain names had been flagged for illegal activities and spam, and that the Domain names had been suspended.

I logged into my Hostsailor account and learned that both sites had been hijacked and that this had been going on for awhile. I immediately cancelled the hosting accounts, scraped the sites (and all email addresses), changed DNS settings back to the Registrar. The domain names were then removed from blacklist.

When they say something is "too good to be true", believe it! I was foolish for thinking that hosting at those prices could be legitimate. Sites are hosted on servers in Romania, where it's still the wild west out there.

STEER CLEAR of these guys. Keep your Domain names, your reputation and your Domain Registrar safe.

I am very satisfied with the quality of the VPS I bought from them. The support offered is very fast, initially they explain what you have to do, and if the problem persists, they take control and in the end everything is solved! They have a multitude of payment options.

I have been using vps service for years, and have no any problems at all. Reasonable price, highly recommend.

Trash, not hosting. I used their services for several years. But the last six months have become hell. They have a lot of overselling. They regularly fall all the infrastructure. Even their own site crashes. In these periods it is impossible to create flows. They turn off the VPS for false reasons, without evidence, without notice. Support takes a very long time. Support is not competent.

Best web hosting provider I’ve ever dealt with. I host mine web application and works good on VPS and they offered unmetered features for very affordable prices with 24/7 support. I am glad to recommend the site to anyone who looks for a reliable, best in market web hosting providers.

I have HostSailor's cheapest VPS (Package OpenVZ HDD) at this moment. Network is very good.
Great uptime for the price - also good speeds, fast disk speeds for begin HDD.
I use it for HAproxy and OpenVPN.

HostSailor has a decent support.
