Horrendous experience

One night stay midt August 2026.
Upgraded to a “superior” room… absolutely nothing superior about it.
Thank god it was only one night.

This so called “wellness” hotel is a derelict and mildew infested waste of money.
Not even an Odendo offer can make up for the fact that the first thing that hits you when you open your room door (with a real metal key) is the overwhelming smell of mildew, dust and a bit of urine.
I don’t ever want to try and imagine the bacteria that hide in the long haired wall-to-wall carpet in the room. The shower is tiny and filled with mildew. Only positive thing I can say is that the water pressure and temperature is excellent.
But if you expect lovely smelling toiletries like one might expect from a “wellness” hotel and big fluffy towels then think again; the towels are the size of stamps and there’s ONE kind of soap for body&hair….

The halls are a cemetery for insects of all kind and it seems they shall rest forever where they perished by the dirty windows.

When entering the Aquapoint you can choose to buy a robe for and a towel - not even that is included in the price for the room.
The “spa” area is one tiny little hot tub (that fits 6 people and isn’t hot..at all) and then one big pool where there’s a part of it inside and a larger part outside and it’s so cold your lips turn blue after 3 minutes in.
I’ve seen public pools with better facilities than this place. There’s a bio steam bath that hasn’t worked in forever according to the reviews months back. There’s a “Finnish sauna” that’s basically a very hot broom closet. The naked-sauna is okay, but also small.

It smells so bad of mildew in the ladies changing room that we had to forego storing our clothes there at the risk of it smelling like mildew for the rest of the day and you can scrape the mildew right off the floor.

The “quiet room” to relax was colder than being outside and it smelled of the tanning bed that was situated in the same room.

The Odendo voucher said you could choose from a 3-course dinner or buffet… but if you read reviews then the 3-course dinner is probably something that’s never happened.
The buffet was food that wasn’t fit for human consumption… the pig-stew looked like throw up and the poached cod the same… the vegetables where from a bag from the frozen aisle and boiled to mush… cake for dessert was so dry it crumbled before you could even pick it up and the “puddings” tasted like something made from protein powder….

All in all just a horrendous experience.

Unfair expencive changing rate

A little worn out hotel - allthough the staff work hard to be accommodating.
At the restaurant they demands cash and as that is only informed when you book your table, most guests are referred to the hotel change machine. Here is exchange rate 150% of the officiel rate! We gave 8,66 d.kr. per Euro. The exchange rate at bank is 7,45 d.kr.!!! I call that an usurious interest. Shame on you!

Bad service from reception

Called ahead to see if there was available rooms for new year's eve. They confirm that we can get a room for that night and we ask them if we can use a deal from a deal site and they agree.

We get the deal and call to confirm that they book the room for us for new years... Now there are no rooms available and they act like we did not just call to confirm this. We ask to speak to a manager but that is denied.

Now we have to cancel our deal with the deal site.
I can't recommend this hotel...

All was amazing and the staff was also …

All was amazing and the staff was also very nice! Our stay was extraordinary from the moment we arrived here and until we left. It was ten days of the most remarkable and great service we have ever encountered. The girls in the office helped organise everything we wished to do.
Keep up the wonderful service !

Excellent!
