For us the beach in 5 min walking distance with the best souvlaki, the awesome view from the terrace and good advise for dinner just exceeded expectations.

Great times at Sunset Villa and Cretan Mansion
We had a very enjoyable time staying at the Sunset Villa and the Cretan Mansion, Dramia. Both houses have beautiful views to mountains and the sunsets are stunning! A short twenty minute walk along the road by way of olive groves and small vineyards leads to a group of restaurants, tavernas and two well stocked supermarkets. From here you can cross the road to paths leading to the beach - where we took took advantage of the free lounges (at least they were free in June!) in front of the small cafes on the shore.
Both houses were very well equipped and comfortable and our host could not have been more helpful and courteous in response to our needs. I highly recommend either of these houses, especially if you are planning a family holiday.

Fabulous hotel
We had a wonderful stay at the Elounda Krini Hotel. We stayed in a family suite with sea view which had plenty of space, comfortable beds, two bathrooms and balconies. On arrival we were greeted with fresh fruit, wine, water and there was some fruit juice for our 4 year old daughter. There’s a huge choice at breakfast and the food is delicious. The staff and management at the hotel are amazing and a real asset, they go out of their way to be kind and to helpful and we really appreciated that. The pool area is lovely, with lots of sun beds. We regularly walked into Elounda, cutting off the main road to walk by the sea. The bus stop to Agios Nikolaos is right outside the hotel and we spent a day there. We absolutely loved our stay here and we were sorry to leave. Would definitely recommend to others and we will be back. Thank you so much to all the staff, in particular Kristina and Maria.

AMAZING PROPERTY
My husband and i stayed here with another couple for 4 nights, and we loved every second of it! It is an adorable farm house with plenty of space and an amazing pool! There is a taverna across the street, and the food is VERY good! i would recommend this house for a vacation! The location is secluded but within close driving distance to all major cities!

Our first time in Crete and definitely not our last!
We had the most amazing holiday at HotelPraxis. The photos we saw before were great, but just didn't do it justice as it's even better in real life. Loads of space (with a brilliant outdoor spot for eating plus a rooftop for sundowners and sunbathing), amazing location (right by a whole bunch of beaches - one of which you can walk to - and a short drive from Agios Nikolaos and Istron) and all topped off with thoughtful touches from Panos and his family (like home made raki and fresh eggs), who made us feel so welcome. It was very child friendly (as is Crete in general) and they struck the perfect balance of being helpful and friendly whilst being respectful of our own space. We were all genuinely sad to leave and can't wait to come and stay again!
