I booked a hotel 3 weeks ago and my card was imediatly debited, 2 days before my trip the booking was cancelled by email with no reason given. I have been on hold for 4 HOURS so far and no one has picked up yet. very upset. i sent an email to reinstate my booking and also no reply! i did not cancel and need my booking reinstated! will review all over the internet until resolved.

I booked with HotelsClick, and am about to depart for a trip to the Dominican Republic. I received an email yesterday that my reservation had been cancelled. We booked a month ago - and did not cancel. I have been on hold for several hours today with no response. I will change this rating to a from 1 star to 4 stars if someone from HotelsClick can please help me get the reservation reinstated! (confirmation number H2018-85407). Please!!!!

I made the mistake of booking with Hotelsclick. About a month after I booked, I recieved an email saying my booking has been cancelled with no explanation.
Not sure if I'll have any luck contacting of them on the phone based on other reviews. Been on hold with them for 50min so far and their phone system makes you press '1' every minute to stay on hold, just to make life a little harder for you.

Cancelled??? Why did they cancel my booking. We randomly out of the blue received a cancellation for our booking we made in May - its now end of November. I would not even know how to log into my account let alone cancel the booking??? I want our holiday reinstated like we booked and paid for. The hotel has plenty of availability - I rang and checked.

I have received an email today cancelling my reservation..this is 6 days to my departure date, I have sent an email to hotel clicks, no response, called customer services and held on for 2 hours and call was never connected in the 2 hours.
I have called the hotel direct and the person at reservation stated that Hotelclicks cancelled reservation. No reason given. No hotel to stay, money withdrawn from account. No refund. These people are rogues!
I will ensure this complaint goes viral and all reputable hotels do not use Hotelclicks any more.

Nightmare dealing with them. Took my payment 8.11.2018 for a booking at the Balmoral Hotel in Durban for 30 Nov to 3 Des. Received a email today with a cancelation of my booking when asking why i received a mail saying its the Hotel. Phoned the Hotel and they confirmed that its Hotelsclick that cancelled my booking yesterday. Still no refund. No place to stay and its going to cost my thousands more to book now in short time.. Hotel has not confirmed my reservation
I made a reservation with hotelsclick.com two weeks ago and I contacted the hotel, the Inn of Chicago, several times and they say that they do not see my reservation. Additionally, I have been on the hold with HotelClick for almost an hour with no response. My reference # is H2018-90395 and my reservation is for tomorrow!

A scam website using a "bait and switch model" - do not support this immoral business.
I book frequently a large number of hotels every year via a range of booking engines found via Kayak.com - this time around HotelsClick.com offered the best price so I decided to try them.
Sadly this company is nothing short of a scam - they operate a "bait and switch" model whereby after taking your booking and charging your credit card they get in touch a few minutes later to say your chosen hotel was not available and offering lesser alternatives whilst holding your money until you accept one of their lesser properties or request a refund.
This would NEVER happen with reputable engines like expedia, orbitz, hotels.com, booking.com, Priceline, Agoda.com etc. etc.
I have already recommended to Kayak that they do not work with this company as a partner as they are clearly sub-standard.
I hate to see immoral companies operating like this trying to trick money out of consumers - I hope HotelsClick.com go out of business.

Shady, do not use!
I booked a hotel for my wife and I to stay in on vacation using hotelsclick.com and 3 months later arrived at the hotel only to find they had no record of my reservation. I was left to fend for myself. When I called to sort it out, I was stuck on hold and nobody answered. When I complained to customer service they told me they would take up to 45 days to investigate. F-That! Thankfully I got my money back and know to never use this shady site again

I wont use this sight again. I ordered a room with breakfast and cold food bar. Then they send me a confirmation with no breakfast and no cold food bar. Then they did not try to help me fix the problem. Very poor customer service. They were not rude but not helpful.

This is a very difficult website and company. After making you purchase a nonrefundable booking, they will not confirm the booking and ask you for a passport page. Why does a booking company ever need it? It will be shown at the hotel during the checking in. No other hotel booking company had asked for the passport copy page. Hotelclick asks for it after you do the booking. If they tell us their requirement before booking customers can back off. This is cheating!!

Having posted a 5* review when I booked (see below) I am now revising this to 1* which is one more than they deserve!!
Had same experience as everyone else, booking cancelled by Hotelsclick and no refund received despite numerous emails chasing them up. How can this happen?
Very disappointed.
I am very happy so far with the service I have received. Having made the booking I was surprised to find I didn’t get instant confirmation and that it sounded like it wasn’t definite that I was booked into the hotel. I then made the mistake of reading reviews and finding a lot of negative ones which then panicked me a bit.
I contacted the company via live chat and to cut a long story short, Nick was incredibly helpful and arranged for me to receive the confirmation I was after. I very much look forward to my stay in what I know is a lovely hotel at a very reasonable price.
You can’t please everyone as the reviews seem to show, but I must say Nick has been excellent and I am happy so far with the company.

I am really having a bad experience with Hotelsclick.com. On Friday the 28th I made a booking via Trivago with the supplier being HotelsClick.com, the booking was made out to Fairmont Zimbali resort. I proceeded with payment and afterwards I received a voucher with reference number: Hotel voucher reference:8145121277956. I later called Fairmont Zimbali resort to see if my booking is reflecting, I did not reflect. I went online and spoke to hotelsClick consultant on their website and the provided me with EXP-1122119787 to use to track my booking, he also said I should give it 3 hours to reflect. Today its Monday 01 October, I called Fairmon Zimbali resort to confirm if my booking reflects, STILL my booking is not reflecting. What really happening here, have I been taken for a ride?

Misleading information and a hacking incident made by Hotelsclick.com
On 29/8 I made a 4 days reservation for 2 persons at your hotel through this website including breakfast and paid 372 USD i then recieved a booking confirmation email stating that the package mistakenly does not include breakfast and that i have to pay for this service at your hotel directly and then get a refund by them.
Due to this issue I proceeded to cancel my reservation on 1/9 and received an email confirming the cancellation and a refund within 15 working days.
Even after that, i was charged 72 Euros dedcuted from my card from by the name "H&C senator hotel", i sent an email for clarification about this unjustified paiement and they claimed that the bank withdrew the amount and not them, which is impossible.
They also implied that there will be no more refund becuse i cancelled the reservation after the given deadline, which is surprsingly 1 day prior to booking day (please find attached the cancellation confirmartion provided by them stating that the deadline is on 28/8 noting that i reserved on 29/8)

We booked via HotelClick in Jan 2018 for an August stay. We arrived at the hotel and there was no record of our booking. We had an elderly person in our party and had a long journey. I had my booking refetence. I am unsure where the breakdown in communication occurred.

No confirmation - Asking for sensitive data.
Put through a reservation for my partner for a same day booking totalling £109.00 It was an emergency situation and I was just about to get on a flight. They didn't send a confirmation but asking me to send a picture of my card and passport - Isn't that against data protection.. Do I really want to email in my sensitive data. I would prefer to use an alternative booking agent next time.
