SCAM REHAB & DISCUSTING TREATMENT FOR MY SON

I paid NZ$24k for my 25yr old son to attend a 30-day rehab programme in March 2026. This place is a joke and was unprofessional from the start. Considering my son is an alcoholic who can not fully feedback what is going on I expected to receive updates. This didn't happen, I had to email/chase consistently from the UK and finally got a response to say he's 'tracking well' but he wasn't. He was taken out on day visits to the local MALL in Albany and left to his own devices which resulted in him buying alcohol. He (plus another younger inmate) were also able to organise a UBER delivery of alcohol to a house near HOUSE OF HOPE. They escaped via the back entrance (no cameras) over a field etc, collected the alcohol and returned to consume. Despite being caught intoxicated and discharged early from the programme he was still given his certificate to confirm he had completed the 30 day programme. I have emailed for updates and a review of his time there and got a response initially offering a full refund, which they then retracted and produced a report which was incorrect. I have now issued a complaint to the HEALTH & DISABILITY COMMISSIONER so hopefully someone will listen to me as this place should not be allowed to operate and continue to rip off desperate parents.
