Purchased our kitchen from Howdens Basildon, David Meade and his assistant traveled an hour each way to measure us up, within a couple of weeks the kitchen was ready for installation, everything went smoothly and any small issues were sorted by David and his team promptly. Very happy with our new kitchen and the service provided by David and his team, i would definitely recommend.

Excellent service

I purchased a kitchen from Howdens Basildon branch. Absolutely fantastic service received from start to finish. I can't thank David Meade enough for the time and effort he put into helping me select a kitchen. His knowledge and experience was superb. His suggestions as to what would and wouldn't work in my small space were invaluable. I changed my mind a few times on the colour and kitchen range and he accommodated all of the changes without rushing me and did not pressure me to hurry at all. He was always pleasant and really friendly despite my indecision and nothing was too much trouble. I was kept informed all the way through the process and now have a fantastic new kitchen with a layout and functionality more suited to my needs, thanks to David's suggestions. I can highly recommend Howdens.

Had everything I needed

We recently bought a kitchen from Howdens in Basildon and our sales advisor/designer Ed Walton was absolutely fantastic, lots of attention to detail, customer care and patience! Ed was always very personable and professional and on the couple of times we needed to return things or get replacements due to slight damage Howdens /Ed was efficient and fast in ensuring they didn’t delay our kitchen fitter and in fact went above and beyond to make sure we got the correct parts quickly - thanks to Howdens and particularly our wonderful representative Ed it made the whole process of getting a new kitchen smooth and stress free! We could recommend Howdens any day.. in short.. good quality… good service & customer care throughout the process. Thanks guys!

For some reason our large wide kitchen drawer collapsed at one side, unable to shut, tried to sort the problem but was unable to sort the problem. Took the drawer, screws etc to Howdens in Basildon and asked if anyone could help me? Without hesitation I was taken to two staff members and one said no problem mate bring the drawer in . Obviously knew exactly what to do and within minutes the drawer was back together! I was delighted! I offered them some money for a drink but they would not take it….what brilliant after sales service you have there in the Basildon Branch!

Ordered a kitchen which took 5 deliveries and nearly two weeks to arrive. My customer was left without a functioning kitchen for all of this time. I lost 4 days of work because of this and have had to reschedule all other upcoming work. The kitchen design was awful. The measurements were wrong which made it difficult to fit and had to make many adjustments to get it to work.
I can honestly say Im positive I will not be ordering from you again. In the 30 years of being in this trade, I have never experienced a service this bad and I will not recommend you to anybody else. My customer was looking forward to having her new kitchen but is now stressed and upset because of these issues. Not only was she without a kitchen, but her living room was like a storeroom. Howdens should be ashamed of themselves.
I have to add that since all of this Kim at the Basildon branch has been really helpful. She has gone above and beyond to correct what has happened. I can't praise her enough.

What can I say about Howdens in Basildon, Dean Mizen was super helpful in designing our dream kitchen. We originally had a design done by Wren but Deans keen eye made our kitchen even better than we could imagine.

To me the Guy that served me made it difficult for no reason , I could not remember my password which was in the end verified by my mobile , which could have been done in the 1st place , when I asked why he said that people could spend on the account, at which point I told him it was cash only

The kitchen sales person measured the kitchen incorrectly,, and also gave the customer the price. Without my say so.
This caused no end of problems for me, as I then had to tell the customer that that would have to pay more money because of the errors by the sales person.
Also meant that I couldn’t make any money on the price of the kitchen!
It continues as after the kitchen was ordered, quite a bit was not in stock and I had to go to 2 different branches to pick up the other stuff only to find that when I went to a branch that was 30 minutes out of my way, my branch had already picked up the item, I needed without my knowledge!
Very disappointed with the service.

They sell diferent what should be.

Great company with great products matched perfectly with helpful knowledgeable staff. Keep up the good work. Always a good experience when I use Howdens.
