Howdens - Bedford Elm Farm Reviews 

We purchased a complete kitchen with appliances from Howdens about a year ago. (Which looks amazing and we are very happy with) Unfortunately the fridge broke down a couple of weeks ago. We called Howdens who immediately arranged for a temporary fridge to be delivered to us (This was literally a couple of hours after we called) Engineer came to look at the broken fridge a couple of days later, and as it couldn't be fixed, a new replacement fridge was delivered a couple of days later along with an engineer to install it again. Old fridge and temp fridge being collected tomorrow. All in all - Very impressive service by the team at Howdens Bedford Elm Farm

Tom our designer has been friendly and helpful since the beginning of our project. He was also so supportive post sale with an unfortunate experience we had with our fitter, responding quickly with possible alternative fitters and parts we needed for repairs.

Tom has always been super helpful & goes above & beyond with every client. Would highly reccomend to every prospective buyer.

After visiting the Howden’s Expo showroom in Raunds, PJ made contact to design our kitchen for us. From the start we were very comfortable with him, he listened to what we wanted from our new kitchen, came up with some useful and helpful suggestions that we hadn’t thought of, but was never pushy. From the design stage through to the completion of the installation, PJ was always very professional, and patient even when I changed my mind about something, nothing was too much trouble. We are delighted with our finished kitchen, and would definitely recommend PJ as a designer.
I should also mention that all of the staff in the Elm Farm, Bedford branch, were always very helpful, if I had a query when PJ wasn’t available.

I went to the Howdens showroom in Rushden, which was excellent, very helpful indeed. I chose my products. I then had an appointment at home for measure and design where I explained exactly what I wanted, exact products, colours and style. I had to chase this 1 week later, the design was sent through to me within 5 minutes. Nothing that I had requested was in the design, the colour choice was the exact opposite of what I had asked for. I replied to the email thanking them but asked for the changes to be made to my original request. Still waiting another 7 days later.

I needed a kitchen replacement designed and supplied at very short notice. PJ designed it, guided us on our choice of options, Howdens delivered it on the day we needed it.
My builder assembled the carcasses as I chose that option and quickly had it fitted. The design was first class everything dovetailed into the existing services.

Well if you want a good kitchen design, and choose one of their fitters then you won’t be disappointed. Everyone needs a Tom when designing your kitchen. With his upbeat positive attitude, Tom makes the process much easier. I can’t fault him on his great customer service and the after service. Any issues Tom would sort them out, which is what you want, and there were only minor issues. Thanks Tom for designing my dream kitchen! Would highly recommend him at Elms farm site. I am very happy with the quality of the Kitchen, love it!!

Our ideas came to life thanks to Tom Shaw, the excellent kitchen designer at Bedford Elms Farm depot. From his initial visit to measure the space, to the very end of the project, Tom was the consummate professional, taking our ideas on board and suggesting some things we hadn’t thought about.
When we were indecisive and made changes to our plans a few times, Tom was always patient and we never felt rushed to make a final decision.
