Howdens - Burnley Reviews 

Shocking firm, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again. Left a corner void in the kitchen bigger than the wall cupboard next to it. Wall cupboard door has blown 4 days after fitting, fitter said he had informed them, they ignored it. They came out to see the faults in the kitchen and bkamed everything on the fitter, not on the fact it's a cheap and nasty kitchen. Wished I'd stuck with wren much better company.

Emma-Lee was fantastic right from the start. She really listens and tries to give you what you want. Martin & Kerry were great and worked round any issues that arose. I would highly recommend Martin as your fitter as he pays attention to the finer details to give a superb finish. We love our new kitchen.

Poor experience. They called to cancel measuring kitchen appointment due to illness and rearranged - fair enough. Didn’t bother turning up or calling to cancel the rearranged appointment. So unimpressed, I seriously don’t know how this business is so highly rated.

The team were brilliant nothing was a problem had to swap some things out and they exchanged then without a problem. Friendly and efficient 😀

We initially approached Howden’s in Burnley with an outline sketch of the kitchen we would like and one of their designers, Lee, came round to the house to measure up. A lovely, helpful, very professional young man who then went away and a few days later had a 360 degree kitchen design ready for us to view. He discussed this with us at great length and together we reached a final draft which we were very pleased with. He also recommended a husband and wife team of fitters - Martin and Kerry at Fitz Kitchens - who he was confident would do an excellent job for us. And boy was he right! We cannot praise them highly enough! Martin is a real perfectionist - keen to get everything absolutely right for us regardless of how long it took him - and Kerry was his 5 star support, not only keeping everything spotlessly tidy but being very handy with a power tool herself and instinctively knowing what Martin needed her to do next. An impeccable team! We consider ourselves so lucky to have found them. Communication with Martin when he was not at our house was so easy, via Messages, and he always replied very, very quickly. He made us feel like we were very important customers and nothing was too much trouble. We really cannot recommend Fitz Kitchens highly enough.

We've had two projects completed by Howdens Burnley. A utility room and full kitchen.
Both projects went smoothly, Lee the designer has done an amazing job, it looks fantastic.

We've found any subcontractors really friendly and helpful. Worktops, Electrical, fitting etc.

Both rooms have been fitted by 'Fitz Kitchens' who are a recommended supplier for Howdens. Their attention to detail and efficiency are second to none. If there were any small issues they flag it up with a solution. They are absolute craftsmen in terms of precision fitting. And they're lovely people to work with too.

This is our 3rd kitchen from Howdens and the second one fitted by the outstanding husband and wife team of Kerry and Martin of Fitzkitchens not only did they fit the kitchen, using additional products supplied by Howdens they replaced all internal doors, skirting boards, architraves, laid Quick-Fit flooring throughout the house and installed some fitted wardrobes. Howdens offer excellent products which gives installers a good base but Kerry and Martin bring another dimension to everything they do. They are exceptionally customer focussed and the knowledge they bring and their attention to detail ensures you get the very best finish, nothing is too much trouble. They are exceptionally good at problem solving too and nothing is too much trouble. For us it wasn't just about the kitchen which was superbly installed, they took on far more including replacing 2 bathrooms as well. There is nothing they can't do it seems and everything is always performed to the highest standards. They are a pleasure to have in your home and they ensure your home is respected and they maintain a high level of cleanliness and order at all times. Last but not least we should give a mention to Jacob at Howdens, there were a couple of niggles with a few things which is inevitable with a big project but Jacob was excellent in making sure that things were resolved and communicated effectively at all times. In summary, wouldn't hesitate to order another kitchen, flooring and doors etc. from Howdens Burnley but above all we can and do thoroughly recommend Martin and Kerry of Fitzkitchens.

We used Howdens Burnley for our kitchen and Jacob was our designer.He came to the house and made good design suggestions and was very easy to deal with.
The quality of the kitchen is very good and the appliances are smart and sleek.
Jacob recommended Martin Fitzimmons as the best installer and he visited shortly afterwards with his lovely wife Kerry.
They were both extremely knowledgeable and friendly and we booked them to do our install.
They both made a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased we used them and would recommend them to anyone from any walk of life as they are personable and kind and bring a real wealth of knowledge to both fitting and finishing and understand what clients want and always applied logic and experience to small design issues to ensure our total satisfaction which they both achieved.

We have had our kitchen done this week. Firstly Jacob come round and measured up asked us about what kind of design and features we wanted, by the end of the day he had already designed our kitchen and booked a viewing the following day. We couldn't of asked for a better design we liked every aspect of it and pretty much said yes on the spot!

We used Martin and Kerry from Fitz Kitchens, we couldn't recommend them enough! The attention to detail was amazing! They kept us informed and updated about the progress, even recommending which new sockets would go with our design. We asked for a few extra bits doing (light switch moved, new skirting board) which was still done within the original finish time. The house was kept tidy at the end of every day and the old kitchen and packaging was collected when kitchen was finished. We really cannot recommend them enough, very patient with our overly chatty 7 year old aswell.

Absolute shambles from start to finish. Had a new kitchen extension so they came to measure twice, before and after plastering had been done.
One delivery man to unload all the kitchen and only got half of what we ordered the rest of the kitchen came the day after with no kitchen plans.
Measurements was wrong so larder unit wouldn't fit. Doors and drawer fronts was missing etc, my partner had to go to the warehouse several times to collect the things that was missing.
Came to do the worktops three the same and one totally different to the others.
Email about these problems and get no response. Feels like once they have your money then they're not bothered.
