Free kitchen design was completed with Chris who was very professional but friendly, he arranged to visit us at home talked through our requirements and then took detailed measurements for our kitchen, utility, flooring & doors. This was followed up with a showroom visit where we got to view the variety of kitchens available and choose the one we wanted. This was followed by a more detailed delve into requirements, I.e type of tap, handles, work surface etc. Chris went through everything clearly, concisely & patiently, letting us look at the items to colour match and confirm our choices. This was then finished off with a further meeting to look at pricing and confirm the order. Delivery was arranged & dates booked for work surface to be measured & fitted. During this process colleagues of Chris, such as Rachel were readily accessible to assist with any questions/queries and aftercare, we couldn’t fault the service provided by Chris, Rachel & team Our kitchen, flooring & doors are all fitted now & we couldn’t be happier. We purchased a middle of the range priced kitchen with a quartz worktop, we feel the quality & functionality is brilliant for the price we paid and would without doubt recommend Howdens to family & friends

Went to purchase a door lock and the item was not in their stock, even though your system showed it was . I offered to return on the Monday to collect , suggesting they ordered a replacement. I was as expecting them to ring me when in but had to ring myself to check. Also purchased kitchen door hinges and said I needed two, so paid for and then discovered each pack had two! Just felt the service on this visit was lacking of forward thinking. On my previous visit a few weeks earlier the gentleman couldn’t be more helpful and he had only been there a few weeks but went out his way to find the product I needed.

Received a good service from the Penrith branch. Chloe was so helpful and designed us a lovely kitchen, listening to everything we wanted. We did not have to wait too long for this. We had a little glitch with our order and delivery but this was quickly rectified and rescheduled, which we were very grateful for. The quality of our kitchen is excellent.

The staff at the Penrith branch were very professional and friendly. The depot manager was efficient and provided good advice throughout the planning process. She also provided us with a superb team of fitters for the project. There was only one small problem namely a faulty tap and this was dealt with quickly and fairly under the guarantee process.

From our initial phone call enquiring about a new kitchen through design and fit of worktops, we have been impressed by everyone at the Penrith store. Rachel, the store manager, has been particularly diligent in ensuring that the process was seamless. The final kitchen is stunning and when friends have seen it for the first time, they cannot believe that it is not a designer kitchen. We have further renovation works and Howdens is now on our speed dial.

Tom in the Penrith Store was great help, especially as we do not live locally to the property we were getting a new kitchen for. I feel he went above and beyond to help us achieve the sales discount on a new kitchen. You give an excellent service.

Got our kitchen done a few months ago using the Penrith branch. We loved everything about it the design process was so much fun and Paige met our every need as well as giving us tips to save money or make our lives easier. Then set us up with a trusted joiner to fit the kitchen and he did an amazing job. Very fair price with the option to change details if the price was too much. Really great experience and love how the kitchen turned out. Highly recommend
