We had a single storey extension, which required a new Kitchen. Bev from Howdens South Croydon was extremely knowledgeable and designed the kitchen for us. Throughout the installation Bev was very helpful and accommodating when certain changes needed to be made. Bev has excellent vision when it comes to the design and layout of a kitchen. The kitchen fitter Paul she recommed did a absolutely fantastic job we are very pleased with the end result of the installation couldn't have gone any smoother. This is all down to Bev's knowledge and organisational skills. Well done Bev.

Howdens could not do enough to make my vision come to life of a new kitchen. Starting by making time to measure up at a time suitable for me and making suggestions to make use of the small space that I had available. She did not suggest things outside of my budget which when you are spending a large sum helps to keep the costs down. Would definitely come back to Howdens for replacement doors that I am looking to replace next.

Such a positive experience; the service provided from start to finish has been Amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and the Howden team's knowledge and friendliness to make everything run smoothly really makes such a difference.
Bev, the designer really is amazing - her positive energy is brilliant. Her visit made us think about our home in different ways to what we had up to that time; improving our spaces and getting the best from each. Really appreciated the conversations around what we wanted from a kitchen, making suggestions to help plan and reach a final design.
The follow up visit at the showroom helps you to see visuals of everything that is suggested, this is a real help. Never felt rushed throughout the process; time given to make decisions.
The team's working together is evident and linked up; communicated throughout the timeline on delivery, updates, advice and were able to answer queries we had during and since the installation has been completed. So nice to come home to our new spaces.

When choosing our kitchen . We were very lucky to be introduced to Bev a kitchen designer at Howdens . She is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She wants you to have the best designed kitchen possible. She takes the extra time to make sure the design is right . In the end it is both practical and beautiful ( I never thought I’d say that about a kitchen , but it’s true ) Bev listens to what you want and includes everything you need. She is happy to advise and answer questions along the way. Taking time while you pick your colours and finishes. Bev utilised our space so well , we managed to get more storage than we originally thought we could have. Bev adjusted our plans again without hesitation or complaint when there were some structural changes to the build made along the way. She takes pride and care in each project as if it was her own kitchen. We are so grateful for her excellent designs and style advice. She helped by communicating with our builders during the project and still now as the install is underway shows the same concern and care as she did in the beginning. Bev made our experience so much less stressful because of her expertise. We knew we were in safe hands.

Arrived at Howdens South Croydon looking to view doors and flooring. They didn’t have any doors on display, but after looking through the book with the really helpful guy on the counter, we picked out a few we liked the look of and the warehouse staff very kindly brought them through from the warehouse for us to see. We immediately fell in love with the Dordogne Oak style! We were also shown samples of flooring and picked from their new Karndean range.
Once it was priced up through our builders account, we were very surprised by how competitive the prices were, so decided to order there and then. We were even more surprised to find out we could get it the next day as they had everything in stock!
Delivery turned up as promised next day. The delivery driver was lovely and helpful. Unfortunately, after the driver had left, we noticed one of the doors had a dent in it. We called the depot and spoke to the manager Paul. He apologised and said he would send a replacement as soon as possible. The driver came back only two hours later to swap it over for us.
Fantastic customer service! Thank you to everyone involved. We love our new doors and flooring!

I have tried using other depots but find that it's not the same.

We first used Howdens South Croydon to fit our utility room, Bev designed it to make it a smart usable space. We were pleased with the result and Bev came back to design our kitchen. Although our kitchen has limitations as to what can go in Bev came up with a perfect design giving me plenty of storage and a breakfast bar. Bev readily answered my questions and her advice was invaluable and her knowledge much appreciated. Bev introduced us to a design we wouldn't have thought of and now its fitted, it's perfect and now we look forward to using it. Thank you Bev and the team at South Croydon

We bought our kitchen from Howdens South Croydon. Huge shout out to Bev who helped us design it. I say helped, she pretty much did everything. Bev is a straight talking lady who isnt afraid to put you right when you get ideas of grandeur about things if they wont work. we went to another kitchen company first who basically just did what we asked and was clear afterwards it just wasnt going to work. (think homer simpson designing a car). so it was refreshing to talk with Bev who clearly knew her stuff and in the nicest way would advise as to what would or wouldnt work and most importantly, why it wouldn't and not be afraid to tell us, and was right on pretty much everything, also giving us great ideas we hadnt even thought about. Obviously buying a kitchen can be extremely expensive and we knew how important it was to get it right. I don't think initially we realised how stressful it can be, or how difficult it is to plan. I'm pretty sure we went way over our initial timing slot as we were there for about 3 hours, but the coffee was on endless supply and there was absolutely no feeling of being rushed. Only the importance of getting it right. There was also no feeling of being 'sold' anything just the emphasis of getting it right. In some cases this was leaving things out that would have cost more, because visually or practically it wouldn't work. We came away from our meeting very confident and (my wife hugged Bev). Even though we had out own fitter Bev was in constant touch throughout, even offering to take in our washing when we couldn't use our machine for a time. We had our kitchen completed just before xmas, and we are over the moon with it. So a huge thank you to Howdens and in particular Bev... and the lady that kept bringing us coffee... Neil&Jackie

Thanks to Bev and the team at Howdens south croydon for our fantastic new kitchen. Bev gave some great design ideas and turned around the kitchen and utility design in quick time. The layout is perfect and we are very happy with the high quality finish, quartz worktops and appliances and would definitely recommend howdens.
