Prior to arriving in Rishikesh I was seeking an experience of transformation and in many ways that's exactly what I received whilst attending the Yoga Teacher Trainer certification at the Hard Om Yoga Video School.

The programme was recommended to me by a friend solely based on the curriculum as advertised on the website and without any real expectation of what to actually expect I got a very comprehensive baseline exposure to the extremely in-depth topic of Yoga and its ancient roots.

All the teachers were very knowledgeable and all carried a friendly and inviting nature about them. No question was ever stupid and they were all happy to go the extra yard to ensure that myself and my fellow students received an answer to any of our queries.

The location of the school is great, being. a short walk from the Holy River Ganga and other local amenities. The food at the school was also great and varied and the chef very accommodating. Pramod Ji the owner was extremely helpful and an amazing resource in all manner of ways.

In summary, I had a great experience and came away feeling a sense of accomplishment and new found sense of appreciation for the depth and scope of Yoga and the beautiful and ancient life enhancing practice of Yoga in all it's forms. Namaste.

The teachers provide unique lessons in a way that is good for beginner to intermediate learners. A must try experience.

The people at the School are very friendly, the food is very tasty and the teachers are very knowledgeable The program is very structured Catering to basic to advanced Seckers, yoga on river Ganges and trips to holy places are memorable one.

I came to Rishikesh thinking I would be doing yoga with my mom for two weeks but that was only a part of what I did here. Since day one, my mom and I were treated with so much love and respect, we felt like family. It was the quickest I had ever felt welcomed.

As a recent college graduate, I didn’t think I had the energy to sit through any more classes but all the teachers were so personable and passionate that I was always engaged.

They put in so much effort into our fantastic meals, to take us on weekend trips, and to accommodate us in any way necessary.

I never thought I would feel so connected to a place or a group of people as much as I do here. I know that I’ll be coming back for sure, next time with my sister.

I just finished my 200 hour yoga teacher training here. The teachers are knowledgeable and more than friendly. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, conveniently located and met my needs. The food is amazing, there is really nothing to complain about. Pramod and his wife Sona, the staff and teachers are warm and welcoming. If you are looking for a place where you feel like a family, then Hari om is for you. Namaste!

I completed my yoga TTC 200 hrs on November 2019. My experience with Hari Om Vidya School was simply remarquable and it went above and beyond my expectations. It allowed me to learn, develop and deepen my practical and theoretical experience and understanding of yoga.
I was lucky to be part of a group of 8 beautiful and positive people from around the world motivated to learn.
I really appreciated the content of the classes and the teaching methods.
Som (Ashtanga and Anatomy teacher) precise in his explanations, always keeping us focus to make sure we understand the correct alignments.
Mahesh (Philosophy teacher) blew my mind away every class in a positive way.
Vikhal (Pranayama and Mantra chanting teacher) big hearted teacher, dynamic, caring that we practice right every exercise.
Rohit (Hatha teacher) energetic young teacher, pushing us to get better in our practice but always respectful of our limits.
About the school and accommodation. We were in Tapowan, 15 mins walking from Rishikesh, not too far and not too close from the city. Beautiful view of the bottom of the Himalayas. A bit noisy because of the construction, but if your room is on the river side, you won’t hear the construction, but the amazing sound of the water fall.
We stayed in the Ayurveda Wellness Center. It could be a great opportunity to try the ayurvedic treatments. I did, and really appreciated the deep tissue massage, shirodhara treatments...
Friendly and kind staff, the cooks, the cleaners, the Ayurveda therapist, every one was kind, diligent, ready to help, always smiling.
Last but not least, a big thank you to the Director,,Pramod Sahoo and his lovely wife. From the first minute I contacted him, he was attentive, caring, making sure that the experience of learning was a success. As a woman traveling alone for the first time, it was reassuring to have him as a host, he arranged transport from airport to school and vice-versa. A man of integrity.

My experience in YTT in Hari Om Yoga Vidya School has been great. and all the members of this school are fantastic.
It has been an amazing learning of knowledge and personal learning as well.
I totaly recomend the school, for sure you´ll find a good YTT from the roots.

I attended a 100 hour yoga teacher training course last July.

It was a very good experience altogether. My first advise would be to go for 200 hours because the course is meant to last 4 weeks, starting from the 3rd of each month.
I attended the first two and I practically missed the best part of it because the classes start from a beginner level, then they get more and more advanced. In the second part of the month you go to the heart of it all: in Hatha you start leading the class, in Ashtanga Vinyasa you start practicing the whole primary series, all things that I missed. That’s why it is worth going through it all.
I am planning to go for the 3rd and 4th week. Not all schools give you the possibility to split the course in two, it is still an option you have.

I think the quality of teaching is good, all the teachers are prepared and serious in their classes. Also modifications, teaching tips and alignment indications are constantly provided, especially in Ashtanga classes.

I would have liked one hour more practice time throughout the day and maybe a couple of hours off in the afternoon once a week. Also I would have enjoyed more meditation in the morning, before all classes started.

Accomodations are ok, the rooms are nice although it’s not a hotel, so the cleaning is something you have to care about by yourself and towels are provided if you ask for them, but it’s better to bring some.
Food is freshly prepared and healthy, maybe a little repetitive but they try to satisfy reasonable requests, like more steamed vegetables, for example. I experienced to be sick a couple of days and I asked for white rice, and they nicely prepared it to me.

The owner Pramod and his family are friendly and helpful in any practical need you might have.

As I said, it is an overall satisfying experience and it remains a very good option to choose.

I completed the 200 YTTC in July, 2019. Overall my experience was great! The teachers, whilst some struggled with english and others with connecting with students, were knowledgeable and well organized. Particularly I would like to applaud the Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha teachers for teaching in such strikingly different, yet equally effective ways. Their contrast was a brilliant primer for considering what type of classroom i'd like to run myself. I'd like to say the location was quiet, which the owner assures me it almost always is, but during my time there, the building across the road was being torn down and a massive Hindu festival filled the streets. Days were filled with screaming men and jackhammers. Even then, the view from the rooftop was spectacular. More importantly, there is a delicious vegan pastry shop a few minutes walk from the school (down the alley/path on the right). I went there almost daily. The food at the school was good, if not a little bit monotonous. More than anything else I just craved a little textural/flavor diversity. The room was perfectly fine, my only complaint was that the laundry line on the balcony was extremely small. I also wasn't able to get hot water, but I didn't I ask for help as it was very hot. The owner Pramod was very nice. He seemed to be juggling many responsibilities, so sometimes requests would take a bit longer that expected. But, in his defense his administrator was away visiting family, and he would complete all important, critical requests immediately.

Everything was good. I had amazing experience in hari om. Food,accommodation,classes,people..etc.i would really recommend to friends. Thanks

It's a good school in Rishikesh. The teachers are experienced and helpful. I am quite new to yoga practice and not flexible. But this course help me to improve flexibility and strengthen my body muscles. I like the food and the accommodation. The staff here are friendly too.

The accomadations are very comfortable and the teachers here are truly phenomenal. I think this yoga school is one of the best in Rishikesh. I'm so grateful for all they've given me and feel very ready to teach with my 200h certificate! Also the daily view of the mountains from the rooftop is incredible

I have been part of Hari Om Yoga school as part of 200 hrs YTT program.Initially it was hard for to decide an authentic Yoga school since there are many.
But as soon as I met Mr.Pramodji,I felt it is a place where I get the appropriate training.
At Hari Om we had best of the trainers who who knows what they are teaching about.I felt the Anatomy class helped a lot in understanding proper allignement and how we can go deeper in Asanas.
The place is peaceful and like family,home cooked food,picturesque surrounding and excellent classes made my one month journey in Hari Om so special.
I would highly recommend Hari Om for any one who is looking for Tacher training or travellers who wants to experience a short period Yogic life.

I had really great experience. I could not stay for longer time due to my travel plans however the teachers are really nice and very knowledgeable and they teach in detail. I loved the place and food. I would love to come back again. Thank you Pramod ji and your family and everyone in the school.
