I do not recommend this company. My mother instructed them to act on her behalf in a litigation matter. She was initially told the matter would take around a month to resolve. I will not go into details but four months later my mother was £4,000+ out of pocket and was no nearer a resolution. The solicitor she dealt with charged an extortionate fee and achieved absolutely nothing. After instructing them we no longer wanted them to act on her behalf, they sent another invoice for almost £2,000. To cut a long story short, I complained to The Law Society and the final invoice was 'written off'.

In response to HRJ (below). Perhaps it's just a 'coincidence' or a miracle that the final invoice was written off after The Law Society got involved. Before I complained about HRJ they would not budge on reducing fees. No, I don't want to contact HRJ. I've wasted enough time dealing with them and do not wish to waste any more of my time speaking to them.

Again, I would not recommend this company and I suggest anyone thinking of using them does their homework. The reviews on this site speak volumes.

Rude, slow, made several serious errors that cost me money and time. Unapologetic. Research them thoroughly before working with them and make up your own mind.

Very quick to send you your invoice, but have now had to request 3 times in as many weeks for paper copies of documents Yes i have them on e-mail, but i have paid you enough so you can send me paper copies also.

I have been on my divorce journey with Amanda for what turned into almost five years . She was absolutely incredible. Full of knowledge exceptionally professional and always there to answer any of my questions or explain anything that I was unsure about . I cannot thank Amanda and HRJ Foreman Laws Solicitors for the support and guidance through what has been a hugely challenging time for me and my family. Would highly recommend to anyone .

A big thank you to Robert France of HRJ Foreman Laws Solicitors, WGC. This is my long overdue review. I first met Robert in November 2024, and I feel that I was guided (through various coincidences), to choose Robert to draw up my Will, and LPA's. Originally I was going to do my own Will and LPA's on line, but you get what you pay for, and I am so pleased that I chose Robert to be my solicitor. I took my time perusing through all of the information ( after first meeting Robert), and then a date was arranged for me to sign the documents in February this year, with Robert, and Alex Pitt ( Robert's excellent legal secretary), as the two witnesses.
Thank you Robert, for your exemplary service; excellent advice, and understanding of all my concerns. A copy of my Will was returned to me within a couple of days of signing, and I am delighted that my Will is being stored in the main Hitchin office, and registered on the National Will Register. The LPA's could have taken up to twenty weeks after they were completed, however I received them sooner than expected by mid May 2025, last month.
I recommend Robert to all my friends, and Alex is his perfect secretary. I feel very relieved that I have finally completed my Will and LPA's, which I had originally intended to finalise sometime ago. With many thanks

We made a last-minute phone call at 2 PM to arrange the swearing of a document for our house sale. The receptionist was very helpful and quickly offered us an appointment for 4 PM the same day. We were introduced to Yvonne Manuel, who was personable and had a kind, reassuring manner. She clearly explained what we needed to do, making the process smooth and stress-free. At the end of the appointment, she handed us her business card and warmly wished us a lovely weekend and good luck with the sale of our house. Whilst going through my divorce I was let down badly by my original solicitor. In desperation, at extremely short notice (only a week before my hearing and just before a Bank Holiday weekend), I turned to HRJ Foreman Laws and asked them if they could help. To my astonishment, Roger Weller agreed to meet me on the same day. He accepted the challenge and worked through the weekend to prepare my documents, even though he'd had no previous involvement. Throughout the rest of my divorce proceedings Roger was not only thorough and professional, but also empathetic and kind. I really believe he wanted (and achieved) the best possible outcome for me. The contrast with my previous solicitor's negligence and cold indifference could not have been more stark. I'd like to thank him and the whole team at HRJ Foreman Laws for their invaluable support during what was inevitably a difficult time.

The solicitor handling my case kept me well informed throughout the matter in hand. Communication was always on a personal basis, I never felt that I was just another client. Attention to detail was very good when challenging the opposite party's solicitor where they appeared to not be so diligent in matters. The office is locally based should a personal meeting be required. Overall I would definitely recommend this firm.
