Made appointment with JT to test Jaecoo…

Made appointment with JT to test Jaecoo - didn't have any confidence in him & insisted on confirmation email ( below) Turned up on time no JT & no car ! Time wasting idiot

poor organisation

I have had dealings with both Cardiff and Bristol. Both were disappointing and no respect for customers. I ended up buying Honda from a non HSH because of quality of product and service. After speaking to people from the community who had same bad experience. I could see lack of enthusiasm from the team

MG Bath gone AWOL

My car was serviced (at nearly twice the price of other MG garages) at their Bath Branch. I reported then and on previous occasions that there was vibration coming through the steering wheel. A common known issue with the XPower model. Following the service, they agreed it needed attention. Indeed, I’m aware that MG UK have issued a Technical Bulletin with a solution. The Service Desk said I would hear back from them in about 8-10 working days to then book it in for the solution. The service was back in October but I’ve heard nothing. So, I have now sent chase emails on 2 occasions. Still nothing. So I thought, let’s see if posting on here bothers them enough to contact me.
Also during the service the software was updated and I was assured this would cure the Bluetooth Connectivity and Radio issues I had. It didn’t. Makes you wonder what you’re paying for.

Update 18/12/24. - Well am I surprised as I’ve still heard nothing from either HSH Group or Bath MG from either my direct emails or from this post. My advice - stay well clear of them.

Update 06/01/24. Well here we are into the New Year and I’ve still heard NOTHING.

Very happy with Honda Bristol

Now on our third Honda Jazz, each purchase from Honda, Bristol, and all positive experiences, from initial sale through to after sales service. After some indecision, over which Jazz to buy, we were very happy with our final purchase, helpfully facilitated by Joe Stacey, who explained everything and answered our questions clearly, with no pressure to make a decision. He has also been very helpful arranging repairs and swiftly smoothed out the hassle of having our Jazz reversed into shortly after we took possession. Thank you Joe.

Excellent customer service

Visited the Bath dealership to get a replacement rear wiper for my MG HS.
MG identified the wrong part number, but when I brought it back they sorted it quickly and sensibly by just getting the part that matched.
It was a pleasure visiting, and I'd
like to thank the lady in the parts dept and wish her all the best. She was professional, and determined to sort out the issue.
As I said at the time, everyone occasionally gets things wrong, but the measure of an organisation and it's people, are how issues get resolved.

Terrible experience from Bath Honda

Terrible experience from Bath Honda. Needed to withdraw from a purchase well before the car was even imported due to a bereavement thus changing my circumstances for the foreseeable and like other reviews have suggested, they decided to keep the £500 deposit on the basis that the car needs to be sent back... utter nonsense. Do yourselves a favor and steer clear! I certainly know that when I do purchase another car I'll not be using this lot.

Great 'Sales' Service

It's important to recognise good service and professional engagement when it happens. Whilst, for various reasons, we did not actually buy the car we looked at, it needs to be said that both Josh (Thompson) and Sam (Al-Siaidi) were a credit to the Honda dealership. The way they treated us was exactly as it should be and I would have expected. We wish them every success for the future.

Great dealership in Bristol

Great dealership in Bristol. Bought a Honda Civic Sport in Crystal Blue with all Black Alloy wheels.
Looks and drives amazingly. Really pleased with the car and the people in the Showroom. Well done Alvar.

We were interested in a new MG HS from…HSH Motor group

We were interested in a new MG HS from the Bath branch of this company.We telephoned them on the 5/3/2023.Spoke to a salesperson called Daniel Chantrey,spoke to him reference the car we were interested in and said we would travel up from the Devon to look at it but since we were not familiar with the make and model might not buy it we we didn't like it,he said we would have to pay a £500 "Refundable" deposit.We did this anyway even though we were concerned why they would need such a large deposit.Later that afternoon after much discussion with my wife and some research we decided the the car would be physically to large for us as we are both in our 70's.we couldn't ring them to to tell them as the dealership had closed,but first thing the following morning we did ring and again spoke to Daniel Chantrey told him we had changed our minds and the reasons, he did try to persuade otherwise but told him no thanks and could he refund our deposit he said he would.Now to cut a long story short it has take us 9 days and numerous phone calls to him before we finally had the money refunded to our account.We are not really not happy with the whole experience and will still be purchasing a new car but not from this company!

Feel very let down by bath honda/mg…

Feel very let down by bath honda/mg part of this hsh group hense review on this site bought car for my wife viewed in bad wet weather did not realise what terrible condition alloy wheels were in car was delivered to us again in very wet weather so two days later dry day checked car over and alloy wheels in terrible condition and wheel bolts very rusted and no marks on them showing any socket have been used them also locking wheel nut was still in bag in boot same place it was when we viewed car so fail to see how the service dept checked brakes etc with wheels in place but to late then has paid for car in full so sent two e mails direct to sales manager at bath honda /mg last saturday and no reply has yet Tuesday so read this review and make your mind up lots of reputable dealers about but my experience is this is not one of them take your money and do not prepare car to high standard and dont want to know afterwards [but please make your own minds up

Genuinely refreshing experience

Genuinely refreshing experience buying from Bristol Honda. Assisted by Lewis. Took a test drive of a Honda E. No pressure throughout and presented the numbers clearly. No hidden costs and everything broken and articulated clearly. Purchased the car from new. Kept updated between order and arrival. Shown around the car as much as I would like - I didn't want a full walk through and was happy to be shown the basics and allowed to find my own way around the infotainment etc.

Had one or two general questions since collecting and Lewis has always replied quickly.

I've purchased cars from Mercedes and BMW in the last 5 years - who both suggest they offer a superior service. In my experience, I much preferred this experience and customer service without a doubt.

Fingers crossed the Service side of things is similar but I'm confident I made the right choice this time around.

Lewis, although apparently still in training according to his email signature, was knowledgeable and helpful. Each person I spoke to in sales through experience was lacking that pushy, know-it-all attitude I've not enjoyed at other dealers.

A great experience all around. I would hesitate to buy from them again in future.
