Decent Deals, but Hidden Costs

Overall, there are good discounts, but not all are genuine. Prices are comparable to other retailers.

A major drawback is having to pay for both delivery and return costs. Most of other major retailers offer both delivery and return for free.

Thanks for appreciating our deals. Regarding the costs we like to emphasise that you will get a refund of the shipping costs when you return the complete order. When returning a part of the order, there are still shipping costs for the items that you keep.
This is all stated clearly in the FAQ as well. We regret that you experience it as hidden costs though.

Besides that, you had a free shipping code at this order so there is only a few euro's of costs for the returning.

Received the package in damaged state

Received the package in damaged state. This is not acceptable and package delivered on wet floor outside the house and package base is full wet..

No delivery - no possibility to react !

The parcel was not delivered by PostNL even if they say it was. No way to inform PostNL . You must make use of their portal, but it only accepts users resident in NL. How can we complain ?

NO aftersales service, NO warranty

I rarely give such a negative review. But I have to give you a heads-up of the after sales service of iBood. I have heard from them all kinds of excuses and cheatings on earth to NOT manage defect. There is no warranty at all. I have been still waiting for a solution to my defect item after reporting for 4 months! Not even being contacted an appointment for repair.

When things go bad, iBood fix things good.

Bought a laptop, noticed after a while a mismatch between advertised specs and what was delivered.
Got pretty paranoid as serial number of laptop did not correspond with the numbers on the packaging either.
Somewhere in the eco system of 3th party supplying something must have gone wrong.

For Customer Service apparatski in general this can be a challenging case.
But not for iBood.

Excellent customer service follow-up.
from beginning till end.
The reassured me, took away concerns and fixed it in a decent amount of time and followed up with a
quick refund.

Bottomline, bought a new, (more brutal) laptop from ibood the same day I received my refund.
With conficence i doubled my original spend.

I have been waiting for almost a month for a refund from IBOOD

In a few days it will be a month since I sent back to IBOOD MS Surface Laptop Studio, which was supposed to be new (Recertified) and turned out to be a return from another user, not thoroughly checked by IBOOD, with a scratched screen and damaged operating system, sold again as new ( Recertified by the manufacturer). Unfortunately, despite IBOOD's assurances of willingness to help, I have not received a refund to this day :(

EDIT:
It's strange because on October 1, 2024 I received a response from your support regarding RMA-2024/1745940 (September 3, 2024)
"I would like to inform you that we are processing the refund. The money will be returned to the same bank account that was originally used to reserve the product within 7 business days."

According to our information the refund of the product took place on September 20 already. Which means that the money has to be back in your Paypal account for a while already.
