Great customer service
I have used iCarHireInsurance.com for a number of years. this year it auto renewed even though I was not planning a trip - I called and cancelled and a full refund was issued without any dramas. Great service and I am sure I will use them again.

Policy documents are incorrect
Policy documents are incorrect and do not reflect the cover bought. Therefore will create an issue when I go to use them as intended. When challenged, an immediate fix can not be offered .

Different certificate to the policy I bought
Bought online. Seemed smooth and easy and well-priced. Then I looked at my policy documents. I had a lower value policy than the one I was paying for, and one which didn't cover my needs. Had to waste time calling them, and be on hold for ages etc, only to be told that I do have the policy I thought I had bought, it's just that the certificate says I have a different policy. "Strange," says the agent on the phone. It'll take 2 to 3 days to sort out (despite the original - wrong - policy being issued in seconds), when I will need to show that certificate tomorrow. The agent on the phone was good and clear and helpful, but the systems appear to be really poor.

Renewal was simple notice was given with quote and processed on the correct day. Documents available on the app and also sent by email. A claim was processed in the last 12 months very effectively.
