Great experience

Very easy and good car

I often go with the big names over local car rental, but for Iceland I would choose these lot every time

I had a flawless experience with Iceland car rental. I rented a car for 7 days in September and right from collection to drop off was smooth. I rented a Kia stonic which was in great condition! Will definitely recommend

We had a small KIA for two weeks and it was absolutely sufficient for our needs as we did not plan to go over F Roads!
One big thing is that we got notifications for possible bad weather consitions all over the island!
Sadly the pick-up code was not delivered in time so there was a short panik attack when arriving as we got no clue where to go and also no code for the key-box. as there is no service counter from the rental in the airport itself and we thought we got scammed!
Once we found the rental outside the airport all went smooth!

A few minutes walk from the airport. Everything was very smooth that save you a lot of time.

I use the car one week less, I PAY four weeks and used there, without get any bonus.

I get really fed up with hire companies loading you with insurance packages that in the end don’t cover you, o chose these guys because it was an all in package and made hiring easy and fast

Everything is fine with the car, but the thing is that they don't tell you that if you are going to pass by the Tunnel in the North part of the island you need to go on a website to pay for it in the next 24 hours because if you don’t do it the car company will charge you for it and they will also charge you a extra fee of $16 for the service. They don’t take the time to tell you this but they do take the time to try to sell you their most expensive insurance.

We hired an older rather than new car. Irrespective. It was not roadworthy. The drivers headlamp didnt work so we couldnt drive at night as we only have full beam. And there was a wheel issue so that the entire vehicle vibrates between 40 to 50km/hr. Finally the door locks are jamming and the key gets stuck. So after too many calls and back and forth we reached a very good solution. Change car. Upgrade. They came to meet us most of the way. And they discounted the hire for the affected day. We were finally sorted after 1730. Thank you. But too must frustration for first day of holiday.

Booking worked fine and I received super nice and useful information. From the terminal in Keflavik there is a shuttle bus every 20 minutes to the rental office. However, we were not entirely aware that Iceland Car Rental does not have its own office. It is handled by Blue Car Rental. We got off at stop 3, as there was a big sign with Iceland Car Rental on a building, but there was just no office. Then we found out that we were going to Blue Car Rental at stop 2. Had a slightly longer walk with the suitcases, but then it went fine. Nice and clean car. Drop-off was easy.

Check in and check out quick and easy. Kind people working at reception, 24 hours opened.
Car worked conveniently, without problems.
A good experience. We can recommend them!

All fine, only a little problem during the pick up: I chose the key locker, but no email was sent to me with the code for the locker so I lost some time for collecting the key.
Not clear the indication fot the entrance of the drop off parking in the airport.

Service and rental went as smooth as can be.
Yes they may be a little higher priced than others in the region, but you have a peace of mind when renting from these folks.

Any questions I had were responded to in less than a day.

The car we rented was cost competitive, it was reliable over the 2 weeks we had it in Iceland, and pick-up and drop-off was quick and easy.

It was very fast to ger the car, a lot of paperwork was done online before arrival, the same with drop off. Car was as expected and reliable. We drowe >2500 km in about a week, considerable amount of it on F roads.

I was generally very satisfied with the rental car. The vehicle was just right for our needs, even though it was a bit older, which actually worked perfectly for the harsh conditions in Iceland. The only downside was the pickup process, which was somewhat disorganized, and we had to wait about half an hour. Aside from that, everything else went smoothly. I would consider renting again!

Queries immediately and we're very helpful., on collecting the car, had to wait even though there were 5 assistants talking . No one brought us to car which I found disappointing, return of car was issue free ,I took full package. Car is what I wanted and no issues

Great service. Wide range of vehicle choices. Friendly staff. Smooth check-in and drop off process. No hidden fees, costs, etc. We did take a premium insurance and it was right choice for Icelandic weather. It is at walkable distance from airport so makes it easier to pick and drop vehicle.

Renting from Iceland Care Rental was such a good decision! Pick-up and drop-off were incredibly easy and smooth and the car that we rented was perfect for our week in Iceland! We chose Iceland Care Rental because of the price, but would absolutely use this company again because of the service we received!

It was pretty easy to check in and check out despite a crowd during check in. I had trouble getting the car started and the gentleman at the counter came out right away and helped.
