We have been using Ilearn2 for the past two and a bit years and it has transformed computing in our large 2-4 form entry school. Our staff were lacking in confidence and computing was not being taught as often as it should nor to a high enough standard. The videos included in each unit support both staff and pupils and pupils in many year groups now access the videos independently from their Chromebooks, working at their own pace. Each unit has clear learning outcomes and each one includes a knowledge organiser to support the pupils' vocabulary. There are also other supplementary resources such as posters, unplugged activities and assessment grids. The ilearn2 team update the units regularly and are very responsive when issues are found with associated apps or plans.
We recently had a deep dive with an ofsted consultant in order to prepare for our upcoming visit and they were complementary towards the scheme and our outcomes for the children.
All in all, if you're considering a new option for your computing curriculum, I would absolutely recommend iLearn2.

A fantastic computing scheme of work. We have been using ilearn2 for a year now and we absolutely love it. It has been the answer to all of our problems. Everything is explained well through videos and written instructions showing the small steps the children need to take, which makes it perfect for less confident members of staff. The progression is clearly set out so I can use this information to show the the skills my children will develop through the curriculum. We are new to Chrome books in our school and were struggling to find software to use to teach our curriculum. ilearn2 uses mainly online software which is easy for us to access. So far we have been able to teach every lesson on our Chrome books and we have recently bought a bank of iPads which we will also be able to use, as ilearn2 gives videos and information for all platforms. We work on a 2 year cycle and there are plenty of units for us to pick and choose from. There is a knowledge organiser on each topic which has a really useful vocabulary bank. The site is always being updated too. We are so happy we found ilearn2. Thank you so much.

I could not speak more highly of iLearn2. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching ICT. The videos are excellent and easy to follow. I was able to make crib sheets to go with the videos (should the internet fail, as it can do). The child have been engaged with the lessons and have chosen to continue their learning away from school. Any queries regarding any of the subjects have been replied to immediately. I am looking forward to another year of teaching ICT!

A superb resource that has all the building blocks for a great Primary Computing curriculum.

This scheme is incredibly easy to use for staff of all abilities. The children have loved the innovative projects; they especially like how easy it is to progress at their own pace. The video tutorials are clear and easy to follow. Our HLTAs love them too.
I really like the fact that your company have catered to such wide range of hardware. This has been an ongoing issue for computing: not having the correct hardware/software. You have solved that problem.

This is an amazing resource that proved invaluable during lockdown for my whole school. What's brilliant about the site is its constant updates to resources, but also how it is designed to use resources that are freely available online without relying too much on other subscription based services. It made it very useful to teach when all children were at home on different devices. Very much recommended.

In an aģe where computing skills are such an essential part of education yet teachers have not had the training it is often a subject quite hard to lead. Staff often feel underskilied and schools underresourced. That was how staff felt but not since we started using ilearn2. ilearn2 is well written, well resourced and equips any level of teacher to provide a solid curriculum. The units are progressive from year to year and also across the year. Would highly recommend this to any primary school.

Fantastic resource for any school or homeschooler. The video tutorials have really supported our staff and are constantly updated. The activities are fun and engaging with a useful progression document across the school. I would definitely recommend this site!

These resources are really useful when you are planning and implementing Primary lessons. They are very descriptive for the pupils and offer good ideas to the teacher. I also find it useful when I am looking for ideas to begin lessons and I can develop and expand depending on my time and pupil constraints. I have been using the website for 2+ years and it was a happy day when I found this via a random online search. Customer care is excellent and prompt, problems are dealt with fast and efficiently and I would recommend this to all

We loved the free resources on the website and had to upgrade. We initially had some issues receiving emails linked with the setting on our firewall. I have to say Adam went above and beyond to solve the issue and he ensure that we were able to get set up as soon as he was aware.
The resources are top draw and of the highest quality. I personally love how easy it make teaching Computing to staff that may otherwise lack confidence. As a computing lead, this is the best thing I could wish for as I can now point staff towards the easy videos that explain things in a way that supports them. I would highly recommend. It is a must for all schools!

We have loved using ilearn2. The resources are excellent and ideas for new websites fantastic. It has really helped give confidence to less confident teachers. During lockdown it has been a god send for home learning.

As there are mixed levels of Computing skills at our three form entry primary school, I looked at 10 schemes recommended on a Facebook group. iLearn2 was the clear winner for many reasons.

It had video tutorials (as opposed to long and often confusing pdfs). It has considered and provides instructions for all platforms (Microsoft, Apple and Google). The activities are online, which engage children in the subject, rather than paper-based activities. In addition, it provides links to go back to a previous year group’s objective if you, or the children, are not confident in this area.

What's more it is updated weekly (e.g. the current animation topic has characters wearing face masks) so is relevant and means all links work. You can even email the team too - I had to once for the Web Design unit on Year 6 and they resolved my issue on the same day.

Finally, and what Heads will love, it is tremendous value for money and a snip at many prices that some more established companies charge.

I am so glad I found iLearn2, it was recommended to me on a remote teaching social media group . It has really helped and inspired me during remote teaching. I love the children's code, it makes it so easy to access. The resources are fun and inline with the computing curriculum. It is an amazing resource for primary computing!

I love iLearn2 - the guys who run it are super helpful and really supportive. Their work and lessons are fab and my pupils love them.

The quality and breadth of these resources is excellent. They underpin so much more than just our computing curriculum, and give us a real sense of structure, progress and skills throughout the school. Brilliant website and support!
