Wish it didn’t take 10 weeks to receive but it’s a good product

I had a great interaction with IMB support and we talked through some of my points of dissatisfaction with one of their previous products, resulting in a productive conversation. I was offered a healthy discount on the newer version of the product in question, and happily placed an order.

This was my third order. The gloves and shoes are well made, fit well and last. Being able to customize the products makes it even better.

Well they finally arrived. First time using them tonight and mixed views. I went for the ext stitching flights, the pics on the website dont show the full extent of the perforation so the colours dont seem as vibrant, these are very perforated tops and looks slightly different when you receive them from the mock up, would be better to show a finished pair on site and mock up (elastic does scrunch them up quite a bit) .

Now to the nitty gritty. Measured my hand, fell in the large size, finger and thumb length are great and fit perfect. But they seem a bit biggish on the palm size, in hindsight prob should have got medium with external stitching. But and this is a big but, the palm material seems to be a bit thin and after 45 minutes of driving i felt like they were rubbing slightly on my palm at finger end, could this be down to size, possibly, so that onus is on me. Could they be better, possibly if they put padding inside for palms or thicker material. Overall 3.7 out of 5. I did put my mechanix gloves back on and they seem better on my palm, slightly thicker material.

Overall, before deciding on size, if like me you are on the smaller side of large and go for external stichiing, consider mediums

~3 months wait time for order to arrive. Although, I understand part of it was out of IMB Racewears control.

Update after IMB’s response:
Due to some issues out of IMB's control, my order was held up for a massive amount of time. The CEO Iain contacted me and made things right in the end and I finally received my items.

The items look absolutely awesome and seem like they will hold up well. I would recommend IMB to friends, just be aware that the items will take some time to get to you due to their custom nature.

If you do have issues, have confidence that the team at IMB will make things right and take care of you.

I am not sure why my experience has been so drastically different from the last few reviewer's, but my buying experience with IMB had been awful. So much so it makes me question the validity of the other reviews.

I ordered my items (Glove + Boot Bundle) fully prepared to wait 8 weeks for them. It has now been 7.5 weeks, and my items are still outstanding; apparently, there was a factory error, and my items must be remade. This seems very "Convenient." There have been issues every step of the way.

1. The Design Process was Amazing
2. The Items were not sent to production on the day I was originally told they were, I was told several times that my items were sent to production before they actually were
3. Communication from the customer service team has been subpar and tone-deaf.
4. I waited weeks for the order tracker on their website to update, and only after several emails into the customer service team did this get fixed.
5. My items showed as shipped from the UK, with Royal Post waiting for the package for over a week, days after asking about this I received notice that my items did not meet quality control and must be remade. No new lead time was shared.

So now I still do not have my items and have no idea when the replacements will arrive...I really really want to like this company and their items, I was so excited to put my order in and complete the design process, but now I just want to forget I ever placed the order.

Love the glove and boots. The quality is extremely high. Worth the wait.

Overall a great looking and feeling product! Arrived slightly earlier than projected which is a positive for a custom product from across the pond. Only feedback (taking some time to get used to it) is the materials used on the grip side aren't my personal preference compared to other gloves I've used previously for sim and real world racing. Small quip, but I would gladly buy more custom glove products in the future!

The boots feel amazing and they look great. The gloves are comfortable as always. Only issue is I ordered stickers but got a Keychain lanyard instead not complaining just throwing it out there

I waited nearly 4 months to get my order to the UK. Very poor from them on their behalf.

Gloves are really good comfortable grip well. There was some shipping issues Through no fault of IMB Still they're handled it very well sent out an email And Kept me informed. The gloves were definitely worth it the wait.

This is my second pair. The fit is perfect and the design is as well. The external stitching is my favorite design and fells amazing. Highly recommend.

My experience has been horrendous I ordered my boots and gloves on the 13th January an only received them today the 12th April, not only did they take forever to come, I had to keep enquiring about the order through out, not once was I updated with what or why my order was late,and finally disappointed with the items, as they were supposed to be black and orange but came more a red colour than orange and quality nothing special, if I had known the hassle I would have ordered sparco items as only take a few days and no problems and much better quality for the price, very disappointed all round.

I got custom graphics on my sim racing gloves, it takes a few months to get them made but well worth the wait. They look amazing and feel great. They are one of a kind and truly are mine.

Even tho I live across the world shipping only took a week the sim socks look awesome and feel great I used to wear shoes while I race but now I'll be choosing my new sim socks fair price and fast shipping great performance you gotta love it

Really love my order, custom outside seem gloves that fit exactly like the measurements state. I was very worried when it did the order but the sizing is perfect. Yes the lead times are as long as they state but trust me. They are worth the wait and do keep you informed as they progress. I will order a second pair to avoid that wait again.
