Brilliant handy

Your website states that Spondon Asda is open, however i have driven over there twice to find it closed.

I am using their car wash very often. But recently the quality of one of their car wash in Redditch went down. I’ve noticed that high price service like ultra HD and ceramic is not worth it. The machine that sprays wax and ceramic coating doesn’t work. They not even inform you before you purchase a wash. I used last week and car was not as clean as usually and left loads of stains on windscreens. I don’t understand. Kinda disappointed with service and it was one of the best car wash in Redditch.

Staff not cooperated fully. And not even giving a proper performance. That ultimately affect service.

I paid for the triple foam wash today instead of the basic Eco wash, however I don't feel that the car was any cleaner with the triple foam or had any more foam than the Eco wash. It was a very hot and busy day with only one attendant washing cars however I don't feel that paying extra gave me a better wash. There was still bird poo on the top of my car when I left, which I could only see when I got home. Also, I had decided to use the app to purchase a bundle but was disappointed to see that I had no reward stamps, despite having used this service more than once and being a loyal customer IMO have decided to only give stamps if you purchase certain single washes ,which isn't the case for other reward stamps services.

I visited the IMO Car Wash in Littlehampton at around 2:30pm expecting the same service I’ve received previously. Straight away I noticed the usual pre-wash foam wasn’t applied, and my car was only jet washed before entering the machine.

It soon became obvious that the wash itself wasn’t operating correctly. The large horizontal brush that should clean the front of the vehicle remained stationary throughout the wash, leaving my bonnet and windscreen visibly dirty.

I drove straight back to report the issue. The senior member of staff told me an engineer was due to attend, which suggests they already knew the machine wasn’t working properly. If that’s the case, customers should be told before paying, not after they’ve received a substandard wash.

When I questioned why customers weren’t being informed, my concerns were largely dismissed. The situation then became very uncomfortable when another employee approached me in an intimidating manner while I was trying to raise my complaint. Fortunately, his colleagues intervened before the situation escalated. I was also told the manager would be called, and I made it clear I was happy to speak with them.

The whole experience was not ok.. Faults can happen, but continuing to charge customers for a service you know isn’t working properly, followed by poor complaint handling, is simply unacceptable. I have raised a formal complaint with IMO and hope they investigate both the equipment failure and the way this incident was handled.
