The OCR payment system falls well short of an efficient business model. To select your 'wash' then pay and subsequently be asked to show another OCR code on your phone reminds me of the old Marxist shops in Beijing and Moscow where you had to select your goods, find the cashier to pay and then return to the showroom to collect your goods.
Surely you can do better than this with, say, numberplate recognition or similar. Otherwise restrict your software supplier to hacking 'Candy Crush' rather than encroaching on business systems.
Friendly guy who is polite and is not shy to work. His prewash and then the main wash done a fantastic job on the car. Possibly the cleanest my car ever came out of a car wash. Came out of the wash and he cleaned the gutters and weeding the area around the wash. All respect to him
I didn't receive the hand wash at the beginning of the wash, I got something sprayed on the wheels and the bottom of the car.
Considering I got the top wash with the £5 voucher offer I was very disappointed with the end result.
I can get a more impressive hand wash from a local garage in Bellshill for £6.
I definitely won't use this place again
I chose the Ultra HD wash, which is one of the most expensive options available, so I expected my car to come out at least properly clean.
My car is a white SUV and it wasn't even particularly dirty. The main issue was the dirt marks on the doors from driving in the rain, but the Ultra HD wash failed to remove them. I was also surprised that the car was waxed even though it hadn't been properly cleaned first. I'm not an expert, but applying wax to a still dirty car doesn't seem like the right approach. I simply wanted my car to be clean.
Another disappointment was the drying. I understand this may be a limitation of automatic car washes, but the car was left with so much water on it that as soon as I drove out into the sunshine, water spots appeared all over the paintwork and every window.
I'm giving 2 stars only because the wheels, which weren't very dirty to begin with, were cleaned reasonably well. Overall, though, I'm disappointed with a service that cost £15. In my experience, a £7 hand car wash does a much better job.
Great customer service @ accrington car wash
Car wash closes at 7pm. I arrived at 6.05 and a sign was out saying closed for maintenance and said it would be open at 6.25.
The car wash attendant was painting a pole blue… strange thing to close the car wash for, an hour before closing. So I waited, as I’d paid for a car wash already. Around 6.20, the attendant started gesturing with his hands that I should go. He didn’t come over. I asked out my window if I could wait until it was open, he just turned his back and ignored me! Pretty awful service, as well as business practice closing it for a rusty pole!
I contacted IMO through the app, stating the above and asking for a refund. Had a response that said they’d removed the wash token and were refunding the money. Not even an apology - this confirmed to me that this isn’t a business that has any values.
Never used before, the staff were friendly and helpful. Car wash well too. X
Used car wash in Mansfield damaged car paintwork dumped a load of wax over bonnet and front grill and number plate and it hardened solid tried everthing to get it off , went back and they said it is normal, going to be an insurance job guess how is getting the bill ,if i could give a zero star Iwould
There was no chemicals in the triple foam so it was literally water and nothing else. This £5 offer is great but when your just using water to try and clean cars your going to damage them.
I paid for the ultra HD. 2 of my wheeles were still really dirty after going through the machine. It was very rushed prewash service. I then parked up to hoover. £1 for 3 minutes. I think the hoover picked up 30 grains of sand and 2 leafs. Suction was so bad. I told 2 people that work there and they both just shrug their shoulders.
Never seems to remove the dirt, hand wash before going into the machine lasts about 30 seconds, don’t get much for your money at IMO
