This was the worst wash ever.
The pre wash was terrible and when I got home the back of the car was still filthy as were the wheels.
I ended up cleaning it myself.
Ultra Guard Wash Purchased.

I paid for a diamond wash and did not get what I paid for. No hand pre wash just my car sprayed with a pressure washer and then sent through the machine: my wheels were not even sprayed either.

Machine broke while in, dropped dryer on car twice, made us drive under while he held it, didn't deliver the wash, charged extra for wheels (even on the £12 wash) and then refused to apologise or any refund for our horrendous experience. This was my wife's worst nightmare.
Furthermore he couldn't get away from us quick enough to usher next cars through. Not a word of english either other than "extra for tyres?"
Won't be using again after nearly been taken out by the franchise owner. He came straight over the give way at speed and luckily I avoided a collision. Very abusive response from him when challenged. Well that's 4 vehicles he's not going to see again. Avoid go to hand wash.
Rude man working there.
Lazy who can't be bothered to was the car.
Streak marks left all over it.
Pointless washed it myself. Will be doing that from now on.
This car was used to be great. But they have updated it and made it worse!
They just try and up sell you.
Dodgy staff member needs checked.
Industrial rd Washington NE37.Complete scam this car wash, the amount of times I have been in and waited in a queue to realise after watching a couple of cars go through that it's supposedly broke again but they can do a hand wash cash in pocket for £5 then you either squeeze your car out between the wash and the valeting area or they drag it through without the rollers etc working. It's a total scam to top probably poor wages up. Avoid avoid avoid
I am usually very pleased with the carwash I receive from Washington IMO. Today I tried their valeting and bought a £25 valeting.
Windows and interior windscreen were very poor they were left scarmy with wipe streaks and swirls. Parts of door jams left untouched, vinyl on doors were left untouched where light shoe mud scuffs are. Dash and console left with wipe marks and cup holder untouched. As a carwash it's fine but give the valet service a miss, it's a waste of money. I shall however continue to use the wash service there.
If I could give zero stars I would. Broke my rear wiper going through the wash despite saying it was suitable for 4x4 Range Rover sport rear wiper ruined and staff said it was broken before. Think I know whether my rear wiper works or not before I go through a car wash. Got told to go back in the morning and fill in a form so let’s see what happens. Never using them again and I’d advise anyone to avoid them
Went through car wash at washington and have came away with a massive deep scratch on my bumper. Told to contact headoffice but when you call noone answers. Also send email with photos but not had a reply
My partner had bought me a black Vauxhall Grandland X Turbo as a gift for my 50th birthday! I KNOW!! How lucky am I! I absolutely cherish the car. It was bought from a Vauxhall dealership and was in mint condition. 4 years old, I only had it 6 weeks when I took it into the IMO car wash in Washington for a top of the range HD wash. I had my son with me and we were off to the shops afterwards. I parked up and admired the glorious shine, I went round to the rear passenger door to get my son out and then to my complete dismay I saw all these deep white scratches above the door on the edge of the roof. A perfect row that led all the way to the base area of the windscreen!!! Needless to say I was distraught! We went back to the car wash so I could show the operator. I didn’t kick off, we just spoke and I filled out an incident form. All photos etc were sent off to the customer services team as per a recorded message, that’s right, no human interaction whatsoever. 2 weeks later I get an email telling me all about their policies and copies of printouts showing no faults with the equipment and they said that no other complaints had come in. So with no faults registered with the equipment and no other complaints of damage, their ‘in-house’ enquiry results were that there was no way these perfectly rowed scratches were caused by the car wash. In short, I am a liar and chancer looking for cash to repair my car! Needless to say I am seeking legal advice and getting an independent to look at these scratches and the way they run along the car. It’s blatantly obvious the machine has caused it. Absolutely disgusted with this company and I for one will never use them again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED FOLKS!!! Anyone who ran their car through that car wash on 26th March 2022, check your cars for damage!!!
Prices have gone up. And the speed you get through as also got faster. My car was still left soaken wet and dried with streak marks all over it. The alloys looked like they hadn't been touched so locked my finger and rubbed and muck came off. That's it for me now was a good customer but will go get hand wash from now. Washington Tyne and Wear car wash stay clear.
