Contacted this company after being let down by another. Staff extremely polite and friendly from the start, needs discussed and job plans started really quickly. All staff introduced themselves and kept in touch on a regular basis.
Given dates for the start of work within short space of time after contacting them . Work team all worked in synch with each other to complete a total refit of central heating and heat pump.
Very happy with all aspects of the job and staff involved, would highly recommend them to others…

Review for Impact Energy
We recently had insulation work carried out by Impact Energy. I want to begin by saying that the insulation team themselves were very good — professional, efficient, and they completed their work to a high standard. We were genuinely pleased with that part of the service.
Unfortunately, everything that followed with the other teams (joinery, electrical, and plumbing) was a complete nightmare.
The joiner assigned to our property was highly unprofessional. His attitude was negative from the start, he was uncooperative when we asked simple questions about the work, and at times spoke rudely and used inappropriate language. He appeared rushed, careless, and left work unfinished. On one occasion, he left the property without informing us.
Even more concerning was the state in which the house was left — debris, carpet cuttings, dirt, and even loose screws scattered across the floor. With a baby in the home, this was completely unacceptable and posed a serious safety risk.
After repeatedly chasing the office manager, some of the outstanding work was eventually carried out. However, the job was still left incomplete, particularly the skirting board work. It has now been over four months since the main works were completed, and despite continued follow-ups, we have received no response from management to resolve the remaining issues.
The electrical and plumbing work also lacked professionalism and did not meet expectations. The only other positive experience we had was with the heating engineer, who was respectful, tidy, and ensured everything was completed properly before leaving — which shows the standard that should have been maintained throughout.
Overall, while the insulation work itself was good, the poor workmanship, lack of communication, and unprofessional behaviour from the other teams turned this into a very stressful experience.
This is honestly one of the worst companies I have dealt with. I would not recommend Impact Energy and would strongly advise others to think carefully before using their services. Also to mention about cancellations of appointments last minute and at times the workers didn’t turn up making if difficult for us as were have been taking days off from work and all you know is they didn’t arrive.

Great solar power experience, more power without the extra financial input,very knowledgeable regarding all aspects of alternative power sources.

Amazing work from the guys.... fitted the air source pump and solar and everything went to plan. Guys cleaned up and I appreciated the job done.

I recently had an air source heat pump installed by Impact Energy and had a great experience from start to finish.

The team were professional, friendly, and kept me well informed throughout. The installation was done to a really high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy.

The system’s been performing really well and I’m very happy with it.

Would definitely recommend Impact Energy to anyone considering an air source heat pump.

I have previously use Impact before for an upgrade to air source heat pump. I’ve gone back to them and purchased solar panels. So easy to deal with they were fitted in a day. Full explanation of what I needed to do with my energy supplier.Which documents they would need ect. How it works. Very clean working not an ounce of mess left. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again. Avoid this company. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.

They came out, surveyed the whole house, took photos, and led us to believe everything was going ahead for free loft insulation under the grant scheme. We were told it was approved and progressing, especially due to a health condition in our household (asthma), which made it even more important.

Then suddenly the story changed — we were told it had to go through a doctor, and after that we heard nothing. No updates, no communication, no follow-up. We were completely left in the dark.

Because of this delay and lack of communication, we missed the opportunity to go elsewhere while funding was still available. It now feels like they prioritised quicker and easier jobs while leaving ours hanging.

To make things worse, after all of that, they came back offering for us to pay and finance the work ourselves, which completely defeats the point of the grant they originally pushed.

Overall, we feel misled and let down. If they had been honest from the start or kept us informed, we could have made other arrangements. Instead, we’ve been left back at square one.

Would not recommend.

Had Solar panels installed recently and would highly recommend this company. Work was very efficient and to a high standard. Would highly recommend. Looking forward to seeing a reduction in my energy bills.

Had loft insulation and internal wall insulation. Really happy with the work. Brilliant customer service..house feels alot warmer!

Used Impact energy to switch my boiler to an air source . Mkyle was great he explained step by step what would happen . Run really smooth would definitely recommend !

We had solar and battery installed, really helping with my fuel bills. Love that I can see what I am saving and what I am using, made me more aware to save money, installers were great and love Yorkshire Tea now!!!

Had a heat pump and solar pv fitted , can not recommend these guys enough saved me loads of money and the guys who fitted were really polite and helpful !

I recently had my loft and internal walls insulated by Impact Energy. The installers have done a great job. Very happy with the work and it only took them 3 days to complete.
