Customer Service is Bad, Returns are Worse
James from customer service is very unhelpful. I needed to order a container, but unfortunately it did not have dimensions in the listing, which could have prevented all of this. I sent a message to confirm if the batteries would fit and they assured me it would. Of course they lied and the batteries did not fit. Better yet, they wanted me to pay the return shipping. I'm glad I saw how they handled a small order before placing a larger one. AVOID this business!

Great online store for brand name batteries that are legit
I've ordered numerous times from IMRBatteries. Specifically I'm looking for brand name batteries that are truly what they say they are. I've consistently received exactly what I've ordered, making me a satisfied repeat customer.
My Go To Supplier for 18640 Batteries
I ordered two more times from imrbatteries.com. 12 Samsung 25R batteries on one order and another 30 of the same batteries on a subsequent order. I have talked to Jim at IMR Batteries a few times. He is very helpful and professional. I have also emailed the company for information via their website with a few questions and they replied on within 24 hours. The batteries arrived in a week from ordering and I'm in Canada. The cells were perfectly packaged and each cell were at 3.5V
Had to refund unused batteries and only…
Had to refund unused batteries and only got 12dollars out of my 30$ and then they sold be low grade re skins of Sony rejects only buy trusted batteries like Samsung or Sony don't mess with anything else
Incomplete order
Incomplete order. This is the first and last time I buy from this website. A very simple order, 10 units of 18650 batteries, same model and same brand, and 6 21700 batteries, same model and same brand. They only sent 5 units of 21700 batteries. They responded to the emails only before making the sale, later, when I wrote to them to complain because 1 21700 battery was missing, they did not respond anymore. It is a shame that I did not know about trustpilot.com before making the purchase, this website, imrbatteries.com, has terrible ratings, I would never have made the purchase if I had known of its bad reputation. It's a shame that this websites continue to do business with so little concern for their customers. It was a really simple order, a child could have prepared it without a problem and that shows his little interest in the client and in his own work..
One positive thing, the batteries seems to be authentic.
Don't buy from them
All four batteries had already been half used up. Just pay more; you get what you pay for in this case.
This wont fly in the USA
Called earlier in the day about availability of certain inventory items...
A kid..maybe ten years, old answered the phone...wouldnt even give her first name until i pressed her and said she could just use a fake name if desired.
She was however nice and showed patience.
She knew nothing about the business or products though...( that were likely in her Daddy's basement or outside in a storage shed) I personally like basements and sheds though...worked in one for decades and netted a few million bucks...while my counterparts gave everything they had and didnt have, to the government and realtors..
..She knew nothing, not even what day it was.
I am waiting for a good explaination, like sickness or loss etc ... otherwise i will be pulling their cord and taking their nearly non-existant market share.
There is also no name associated with the business...a person really cant know who theyre dealing with.
But i highly suspect who and what ive been trying to deal with here.
In America there are common rules of etiquette to follow when running a business...but in some lands abroad there are no manners..
Either the owner just doesnt care, is unaware or something bad has happened in life.
They can be helped and i can help but first they have to show they care.

I've bought lots of 18650 batteries…
I've bought lots of 18650 batteries from IMR over the years. Prices are comparable to other sites, but shipping is usually cheaper. Had an issue with a lost package recently and they sent a replacement.
Just avoid them
Terrible customer service. Communication is very bad and they could care less about the customer after the purchase is made. Waited over a week to even hear back. I’d recommend using another trusted retailer. Other retailer prices are just as fair, if not better.

I tried to place order & website was just a big run around . First after loading all information it would go back to the order page on the website . I emailed customer service that I I finally noticed the batteries were out of stock & sorry for the hassle. They sent a link to order the 18650’s & told me they are in stock.
Tried to order using visa & still no order placed . I notified IMR That they must not want to sell anything because the website just runs you around in a circle without any order being placed . Called their 800 # & it went unanswered . Finally virtual chat it tells me that the visa site is messed up & chose another payment method. I figure it was a scam site & canceled my Visa card . Nothing but hassles . From the other reviews I’m glad I packed up & left it. Sounds like I may have received nothing if I had been able to place order . Can you say Unproffessional?
Everything was great!
I ordered six batteries from these guys and received an email at the very next day that they had shipped. Got the batteries in about 3 days, everything was authentic and packaged perfectly.
Guess I got lucky?
I usually shop at 18650batterystore.com for my vape batteries but I decided to try a battery I never considered before the catch was 18650 was sold out and behold imr had them in stock for even cheaper than 18650 I prompted for a pair of Samsung 20S and a molicel p26a pair (WARNING: CHECK YOUR CART BEFORE PURCHASE, I ORIGINALLY JUST WANTED ONE MOLICEL BUT IMR ADDED A PAIR) that is my only complaint and its a pretty big one if you ask me (deceptive/shady business moves) the package itself arrived with all contents and even two cases/heat sink wraps for the batteries, would I order here again after reading the trust pilot reviews? Probably not but glad that I didn't get jipped this time.

Took 3 weeks to get them to file a claim with UPS about a lost package, even though I notified them within days of placing the order ups had messed up. They said i should receive a refund in approximately 10 more days? A customer should not have to tell the merchant that a lost package claim needs to be filed!!!!
I ordered 3 21700 batteries from them…
I ordered 3 21700 batteries from them in March. When I received the package it was short 2 of the batteries I ordered. I wrote an email to customer service explaining the situation and got zero response for almost 2 weeks. I then took it up with PayPal to recoup the money I spent for merchandise not received. Surprisingly they responded through PayPal in 3 days with an accusatory explanation complete with photos of what should have been in my order and the shipping weight of my package. The tone of the exchange we had through PayPal was unprofessional, smug, un called for, and rude. Zero attempt at making the situation right with me or at very least offering a small degree of amiability to the person they just ripped off. I eventually filed a complaint with internet crimes and I had to eat what I paid for but never received. Do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere.
Missing items from the order
Missing items from the order, contacted customer service was instructed to send email regarding the missing items, did so, following this up with a call to verify that it was received, was told they received it and would contact me shortly.
Fast forward to 2 weeks later and a very irrate customer due to the extended delay in receiving their finished products, I still have neither received the missing items, not an email or courtesy call.
I have called a couple of times during this period only to keep getting the same gentleman on the phone and the same stale response of "someone will contact you shortly", yet no one does.
Since Wednesday I have attempted calling, receiving voicemail each time, have left a message and still have not heard back.
Obviously, customer service is non existent and despite a few small items being the issue they obviously don't feel as if they need to resolve the issue.
I bought twelve 1850 batteries
I bought twelve 1850 batteries. 6 sony for thinkpad and 6 Panasonic for dyson v7, included shipping fee totally paid 53 bucks , packaged very professional and very useful gift in the box. I high recommend the store.
Ordered 50 cells, none arrived. Poor customer support
Ordered 50 cells
A box arrived with only a few cell wrappings and a safety booklet, huge hole in the side which was taped up. IMR's FedEx agent took 3 months to decline their claim (submitted on my behalf), and PayPal denied my claim as a box did arrive, just missing what I actually ordered.
Poor communication from them as I had to hound them for info, and call a few times. They only let me know FedEx could do nothing after I called multiple times.
I hope they improve this in the future, and remove shipping through FedEx as their only option.
First and last time I order from these…
First and last time I order from these clowns - order has been pending 'collection' from UPS for 3 days. No response to emails. I will just report the charge to my bank seeing as I can't get any information from them.
My go to
